Absolutely, 100% Bama. 2nd place is so far removed from them, there is no point in a ranking.
Bama is a GREAT program. The best ever and I don't see that as being debatable. They are in a great spot now as well, obviously. Their grads aren't any more or less redneck than grads from other SEC schools, barring Vandy of course. But their sidewalkers...Jesus, God Almighty those sidewalkers are something to behold. So they have a larger fanbase, thus, more sidewalkers. It also just so happens that rednecks are mostly losers...losers love to hitch their wagon onto someone else's success. If they are relatively agnostic (didn't grow up in a strict Bama/Auburn household), they are going to choose the one that is going to make them feel like a winner. It's where they draw all of their joy in this life. That's why Bama's sidewalkers are the absolute worst and go so fricking fruitcake bananas when there is some perceived slight against their team...because it's deeply personal to them. It's also batshit crazy

Have you ever been to a game at Memorial and sat behind or near the visitor's bench? Vandy carries around some rough folks,too. Even had a name for their own special group for football in the 1970's --Section N gang.

"most redneck" is an adjective in this sense. If the OP had said "which fanbase has the most rednecks," rednecks would be a noun. In this sense "most redneck" to me would be based on the average demographic not the total number of redneck fans.

Sure Vandy has their local townies from Nashville who follow Vandy and have no connection to the school and sure there are plenty of rednecks from those townies that follow Vandy, but, by and large, their fanbase is not cut from the same cloth as the rest of us.

We really aren't that redneck. Ole Miss takes a lot of those fans in this state. See Tuesday Night's Baseball game for the Ole Miss family for a prime example.

SEC fans trying to determine which fanbase is the most redneck:
Everybody outside of Missouri is redneck.
Redneck isn't even a derogatory statement anymore.... at least not down here. I see a ton of pickup trucks with redneck plastered on the back glass or the tailgate.

Yes. AU isn’t on the list because the vast majority of AU fans are AU grads unlike the schools on the list. People with college degrees in general tend to be much less redneck than people without degrees...like the vast majority of Bammers.
