The guy gets a sturdy athletic QB and it's a wrap... those guys are a dime a dozen in Fl/GA/AL/MS. UF's defense will probably be top third.

The Jawga dawgs better enjoy their little run.. UF will be back sooner than y'all think.

Not worried

The past two recruiting cycles, these are the total amount of players signed in the Rivals SEC top 20 the past two years.

Georgia 16
Alabama 12
LSU 6
Auburn 2
Kentucky 1
Tennessee 1
Ole Miss 1
MSU 1
Florida 0

A good mobile QB will not be good enough for him rule the east but he could compete. If he gets a good true dual threat QB like Tebow/Newton/Prescott And improves the talent on the team then he will rule the east .

QB run left or right 70% of the time still won't work against UGA or Bama.

We’ll see he has to recruit better. He hasn’t proven he can do that yet, also as the State fans have said, he has to evolve as a play caller and stop leaning on the QB run so much.

Dan will do well.

He won't be an elite recruiter, but maybe he can hire one. His main advantage at UF will be attracting WR talent, which he couldn't do at MSU. To be fair, he didn't really try until last year, when he signed the best WR class MSU has ever had. He will have a successful QB, either by signing one or building one

Mullen has to have 5 years to rebuild that JUCO roster.

Agree.Florida will be a force again under Mullen. If he can make MSU successful, then the unlimited resources at Florida should put them in the top 10 on a regular basis again.

He'll do fine. He is a good coach who got good results with ~25th ranked talent at a historical loser in a job he never fully bought into after the first two years.

With Florida talent and full effort on his part, I expect him to do quite well.

If I were Florida, the thing I would worry about is his recruiting ability (sarcastic yankee a-hole doesn't fly with a lot of southern mamas and with LOOK AT ME 5* talent) and his loyalty to some subpar position coaches in Gonzo and Hev.

They will be 'back', sure, but they wont reach the success they had under Urban, not while UGA is recruiting at such a high level.

Mullen is gonna dominate - he's got the whole Sea Org division of Scientology in Florida to help him out. And if things don't go as he wants, he'll just audit that shite out of him!!

I think Mullen will need an extremely good third year. I don’t see UF winning the East the next two years.

The SEC is so much better with a good Georgia, Tennessee, and Florida. Hope all do well.

Mullen gonna get spanked in Starkville.

and then since everyone knows he can't recruit the entire SEC, along with FSU, Miami and clemson gonna come in behind him and steal local recruits. He's gonna have to try and convince mississippi and albama 3 star recruits that we, and the bama schools (including troy and South alabama) don't want to come play for the gaturds. You guys are so screwed. The SEC just got a bunch of better coaches and all the new hires > mullen that is what you are missing

I’d say he’ll definitely improve the team but until the recruiting gets better he’ll be behind UGA
