Let's go Bama fans we're 2-0 whenever I post the game thread.. I hate doing it but I'm a team player..
- players are not taking the 11pt dog thing kindly
- our length at guard will seriously bother them
- Sexton, Petty, Hall and the magnificent coaching of Avery Sr.

The key to victory is John Petty. If he can hit 3's like he is capable of then we have a chance. We may get smoked even if he is hitting today. I am hopeful but face it, they are probably the best team in America and they are gonna kick our arse.

Patty and Jones both have to play well ... hall can get his 10/10 and some blocks, but those two need to score more and defend ...

We have a punchers chance. On paper they are 11 points better than us. I will be cheering for the Tide, but I am under no expectations that the outcome will be anything but a loss.
Being a fan of the a team and cheering loudly even knowing chances are good your team will come up short is a true fan. And no matter the outcome I’ll still be a fan tomorrow morning.

If UMBC can knock off Virginia, Bama certainly has a chance against Nova. This is why the tourney is awesome, anything can happen.

we can't have the typical bama idiotic turnovers, they are a very efficient team on offense, so we can't give them extra opportunities by throwing it away / dribbling it off our foot, etc. If we do that and Hall and Petty play well it should be a good game

I hate that the game is during the same time as the St Patrick's Day parade in Mobile. But I'll at least watch the second half. Win or lose, Avery has met expectations for the season, and maybe exceeded them with Thursday's win. It's just great to be excited about Bama basketball again.

Keys to victory? Limit turnovers, make free throws, guard the perimeter. 3 pointers are their bread & butter. Anythings possible this time of yr.
