Because we know at the very least they or their parents/guardians took money from an agent

... Uh yes they were?

Are you talking about the recent Yahoo article? That is related to a completely separate FBI investigation/indictment

I don't know if we know that.

We can ASSUME it was since Wiley's process moved forward with an appeal etc.

But who knows how many details we don't know.

PLUS - we still have two assistant coaches out on paid leave pending this investigation, and I don't think the school has ever said the reason publicly

They were referenced in an indictment as unnamed players. What are you talking about?

Some type of agreement was made, the NCAA is allowing Wiley back for next year

So its Ok to take improper benefits as long as you pay it back once you get caught?

I just want to know why Collin Sexton was cleared to play by the NCAA.

Because it appears all the NCAA knows is he received an impermissible benefit in the form of a meal, which his family then paid restitution on.

Maybe I'm missing something but I've read that Wiley's parents paid back money. Can anyone confirm this?

I think that is the assumption given the NCAA is giving back his eligibility..... well someone "paid back money" is the assumption

Wiley was accused of taking more money, which means he had to sit for longer. Like the difference between petty theft and robbing a bank

I agree with the OP- WTF

All of these other schools better start sitting their players or once again the NCAA is picking punishment. They better not get to play in NCAA tourney and get a pass. Point for Bruce is...this current investigation doesn’t implicate us. The other guy did.....but never the amounts listed in this article. We need Wiley now.
