A team of this caliber has absolutely no excuse for losing multiple games at home to those teams. And "it's baseball and crazy things happen" is a bullshite excuse that bad coaches use to try and get fire off their arse.

But you all keep celebrating mediocrity while our rival school is actually demanding more, making improvements to their facilities and actually playing for national championships. Nobody will ever beat us in a party. Which is what most of our nutless fanbase really cares about

When Matt Luke was hired and our fanbase just sat back and accepted it. Then accepted the lie that he was our only option.

I legitimately almost hate Ole Miss athletics because of it.

I used to donate annually and I put a stop to that once Luke was hired and I won't start back until Luke is either fired or wins the west

I like you man, just take it easy. It's college sports. There are ups and downs. The next couple of years in football will be downs. DWI.

HJJ, serious question. What are some positives/pluses, whatever you might call them, going on within the athletic program? I'll go first.

1. Bianco, though not flashy, has been very steady over the years and has us perched on the cusp of something special as we speak.

2. The football program needs a really good year to help recruiting to hopefully get us through what could be a couple of down years. Still, we've taken 3 out of 4 from you know who and once the storm (if that's what it ends up being) is weathered we should be just fine.

3. Davis as the new basketball coach is definitely an upgrade and recruiting there is on a definite uptick. Coupled with everybody that was good coming back, this team could be our best in years. Should be

4. The new women's basketball coach hire could be good. Time will tell. It was certainly an effort towards making significant progress.

5. Lastly, our facilities in all sports are better than ever and only getting better. We live in Mississippi, where most things are far subpar unfortunately. The same cannot be said, fortunately, for most all things Ole Miss.
