That’s quite an accomplishment.
With all due respect, I’m really not sure why a top receiver would pick LSU. It’s almost like a top pocket passer picking GA Tech.

Mama says LSU fans so ornery cause dey got all dem receivahs and no quarterback.

Seriously though...what’s in the swamp that helps grow all these receivers and DBs?

Damn. When you don't have a QB and never had one really, this is truly majoring in the minors. Too bad there are no trades in college football.

What's even better is they don't even a runningback to bail them out

I don't get it. LSU has everything in place to win. Oh yeah, except Special Ed. Even if you're a great recruit from Louisiana, do you want to trust your future to a coach like Special Ed?

Might have something to do with constantly churning out 1st and 2nd round draft picks over the last decade but yeah idk.

Probably because we've had quite a few guys get drafted there

The receivers coming out of the state of LA had ridiculously good talent this year is how. We didn't even snag 2 very good ones in Devonta Jason (congrats state) and Lawrence Keys who signed with Notre dame

Yep. In a normal year those guys would be automatic takes. But this year was particularly loaded at the WR spot, even by LA standards. Staff did a good job to land the best 2 and then solidify numbers with a couple more high end takes.

It's a good problem to have but it's almost annoying how consistently the state churns out a half dozen SEC caliber WRs every year. Can't really turn them away but it makes it a challenge to balance the roster.

Two of the top receivers in the country are in Louisiana. LSU has churned out a good amount of receivers in the NFL, despite some of the offensive woes in recent years.

Rough schedule for Ed O to try and prove himself this year. We did fill a good bit of needs in this class, but CB was a disaster and he's a jackass for how he handled that.

ETA: QBs should look at our receiving core and realize how deep we are at the position. It's pretty silly talent wise moving forward, just unproven right now.

True but no in-game reps. I guess if you're going strictly for route-running, it helps?

The OP said with all due respect. That means he gets to say whatever he wants. It’s in the Geneva convention. Look it up.

Previous NFL success and these kids love them some Ensminger believe it or not. They really feel he is going to throw the ball more....and with this class and Brennan under center there are no excuses not too. This is the first time too in a while that our RB situation is a little unknown so it will be smarter to throw more until those guys can get their feet wet. And don’t gorget Giles our transfer from TX Tech who sat out a year just so he could play on the bigger stage in the SEC. Cat had 70 catches and 1200 yards just two seasons ago, he will be our starting slot receiver

They are hardly used at LSU allowing them to peak in the NFL.
