My bet is Willis... I seriously like the kid but I just don't think the light will come on for him.
He is a Gus higschool recruit so of course the light will not come on for him. He looks to have regressed from his freshman year. Classic Gus coaching.

Yep... makes bad decision after bad decision. Some have said it's lack of playing time but I'm not so sure!

Bama just hired UF's DL coach. That might help us a little with Moore

KN on ‘19 OT Ira Henry:
Auburn’s up against UF and FSU. Ira’s interest in Auburn is primarily driven by the fact that Auburn’s depth chart loses both starting OT’s after 2019. His priority on where he signs is the depth chart

Can't imagine there are many Power 5 programs in worse shape than us depth chart wise at the tackle position. Maybe we can snag him

We thought recruits seeing the depth chart was going to help us rack up this year. Guess not

Deterrent at LB. Opportunity at OT. Different results
Issue on the OL seems to be that we’re putting less OL in the draft than schools we naturally recruit against in our area and there’s a perception that the ones that are drafted don’t hang around long/ don’t perform well.
That’s why we need to branch out into new territories to snag guys. It seems like for 2020 we’ve started doing this. Reasoning might be two-fold. Dillingham is from AZ and we’ll see a flurry of offers there but OL doesnt look promising for us in MS, AL, and GA. Not a deep class for those states compared to previous years and some are already locked up

Other guys look like they were being recruited by Memphis, though some clearly now have substainally better offers. Hoping he can reconnect with those guys

Christopher Russell is no longer taking an OV this weekend. Appears to be trending ARK
Also looking like Dylan Jordan a lost cause. AU has to get Brothers at this point

What’s this Jake Reuse guy from UGA saying Pickens is a goner and he almost signed with UGA on ESD?

Not sure about Reuse but I believe Pickens said he almost went ahead and signed early (with AU) but wanted to take his visits.
Fields transferring hurt UGA’s chances more than people realize. Pickens really likes Gus and believes he’s got a good shot of playing and catching a lot of passes with Gus calling the plays.
I’m not one who feels like we have Pickens 100% locked up but odds heavily favor Auburn getting his signature

So we losing Pickens?

I would take that reporting with a grain of salt. All the AU insiders are extremely confident about where AU sits right now and KN specifically spoke with people close to that recruitment rebutting that story
Don't think Pickens is a slam dunk but I also don't think he's some sort of super silent UGA commit who almost signed

quote:True but all the WRs they lost recently is helping them per Kipp Adams. I still think we get him though. I think what you said plus the Bo factor will be too much for UGA & Tennessee to overcome.

quote:Unlikely. I wouldn't believe a word Reuse says unless it's confirmed by others which it hasn't. Reuse is about as big of a homer as the Ole Miss recruiting reporters.
So we losing Pickens?

Man once again can't believe we're having trouble at this position losing 3 starters to graduation / NFL.
Richard Mcbryde is no longer able to play
That leaves Chandler Wooten, KJ Britt, and Michael Harris (who is undersized and almost got kicked off the team once).
Pappoe coming in undersized but he'll have to play immediately. We need some big pluggers
