If he can get a REAL change to Coleman done and Bohnannon pans out, I'll give him a passing grade for now.

There are a whole lot of people (some on this board) in denial about the softball program. They better get their heads out of their asses before this becomes a complete rebuild.

Hopefully Byrne will be willing to do what it takes to keep our non-revenue sports competitive. Murphy is basically our Les at this point. There's no point in keeping him around any longer. A fresh start is probably what both he and the program need.

Not a supporter of the coach one bit but how does anyone know whether he has been called to the carpet or not. My guess is the AD wont have any meetings with any coach in the season. And even then it wont become public knowledge.

Murphy will have at least one more year to turn things around. He isn't leaving after this season unless he decides to retire.

Give the bulk of play to the underclassmen and build for something next year.
