In retrospect, Dobbs was the most underrated QB to play in the SEC in many years. He carried Jones. With DB and AK their talent was and remains obvious.

Although I think Shaw was the most underrated qb in the last decade. Dobbs is a close 2nd however

The difference that Dobbs made was significant. Tennessee literally went from the BEST offense in the SEC and school history to the WORST offense in the SEC and school history overnight.
History will do Dobbs justice. He was greatly underappreciated at Tennessee and in the SEC.

i mean butch jones was incredible at wasting talent, but he did get them there. You shouldn't feel sorry for us, we have as much hardware as every sec team not named Alabama in the last decade. Well auburn bought that 1 championship but besides that.
