awkward times for MSU. tyler russell was supposed to be the next big thing at state. they commemorated the 1999 snow bowl to no avail. 10 months later they had the best player in their programs history.

That's because Mullens couldn't adapt his offense to his starting QB. He will never beat a team that's better than him. He was able to beat teams with less talent, most of the time but never the big ones. And thus that's why he never did anything at State.

We might very well be in same position when we take the trip to Tuscaloosa this year. The only thing standing in our way is a trip to BR that is always terrible our home field advantage is unreal when we are good and fully expect to go undefeated there barring our new coaches are not shite. I'm sure bama happy they get us at home this year.

I agree which is why right now I have State at 11-1. LSU? Maybe. Auburn will be the more difficult one in my opinion. Luckily that one is at home.
Baseball Starts for Mississippi State in Hattiesburg February 16th against Southern Mississippi. But good luck getting a ticket.... The transitional Dudy Noble will be open March 6th, first weekend game will be March 9th.

Mullen stayed 9 years and State fans got accustomed to him being there. I don't blame him going to Florida at all. I think he changed our program for the better. I think Moorhead will do great in his first year due to the talent he has. In 2019, State will rebuild and we will see exactly where Moorhead will be.

Well Mullens was coaching supposedly the #1 team in the country. That means to me he has the best team. And since you've been telling me that's a huge accomplishment, I figured it meant something. But I guess it's what I feel like it is. Completely meaningless.

You are obviously a troll as no real Mississippi State fan would be as delusional or as arrogant as you are. Your program is below .500 in all-time winning percentage. You have absolutely nothing to brag about or expect. About the only thing you have to look forward to in life is an occasional victory over Ole Miss in the Egg Bowl. Beyond that, you are easily the worst program in the SEC all-time when accounting for overall wins and winning percentage.

In this decade State is one of 5 SEC Programs to go to a bowl game every year.
And as far as what I have to look forward to? Well much more than Alabama. That is for sure.
