Alabama makes quick and easy work of the undefeated Bulldogs on Homecoming in Tuscaloosa. One of the major highlights includes a 16-play, 97-yard drive by Mississippi State that ends with an interception in the end zone.

HaHa. That hashtag is the mentality of a program who knows they are losing. How pathetic

That was Stricklin's brilliant idea

Not Surprising. I saw some dumb fans that wanted to bring that hashtag back last year. Unreal. Luckily we have progressed from this. And luckily State has a coach that is ready to win not compete.

Yep, it's a stepping stone process and that's the next step.

I really do not understand the anger State fans have right now re: Moral Victory Mullens leaving. Did they not want State to take the next step? Did they want to pay Mullens 6 Million to finish 5th in the West?

We saw what he was going to do at State: nothing. Now it is time to see what new blood and new energy will do for State. Judging by his track record, I say good.

Was this the game when it was like 65 degrees and Mullen was wearing gloves

I honestly have no idea. But this is one of Moral Victory Mullens many games where him facing a ranked opponent meant he needed to crap the bed.

And that started from the 2011 season all the way to the 2017 season. And we were almost dumb enough to give him 6 million in 2018 to finish 5th in the West again. At least Sticklins did one thing right by making sure we did not do the most Moo U thing ever.

Mullen was hit and miss at State. He brought in some good classes and some bad classes. He coached with conviction at times, and went through the motions other times. Mullen always preached "relentless effort", but was relenting in his own. He practically took the 2016 season off.

It was really a mutual parting of ways with me. I'm happy he's gone and he's happy to be gone. That said, Moorhead is going to win at MSU.

I think it was more mutual with the AD and President more than you'll ever hear.

I don't think he ever brought in a great class. Most were mediocre.

I mean....the second winningest coach in your program's history just left for greener pastures. Your winningest head coach was Jackie Sherrill and he had to overtly cheat to get to 75 wins in Starkville.

Moral Victory Mullens lost to South Alabama. There is nothing that he did at State that suggests he will do better than Shark Fricker. And he got owned by Ole Miss losing 4 of his last 6. He couldn't even beat Alabama once going 0-9.

FSU and Georgia are going to continue to own Florida. Idk if they play Miami but Miami will have a field day as well.

I'm pretty sure just about every coach in the history of Mississippi State football has had a terrible loss or two. Mullen's predecessor lost to Maine. You're just not a good program.

How many coaches in the history of your program can say they had the Bulldogs ranked #1 in the country for a time? I'd say he overachieved at Mississippi State and did all a head coach could possibly do with them. Starkville, like Nashville and Lexington, is just a stepping stone for bigger and better jobs.

Hahahahahahahahahah

#1 in the country for a week. Awesome. Moral Victory Mullens loved to Yap about that while he was running the Boston Marathon and not recruiting.

He should have left after that ceiling when he got outcoached by an inferoir Alabama team. He reached his ceiling.
