Went from unranked by any recruiting site to a 4* ranked 190th prospect overall on 247 Final Rankings. Was a track star and then someone decided to throw him a football
Played only 1 year of high school ball,
1,562 receiving yards
23.7 yards per catch
66 catches
17 receiving TD’s
18 Total TD’s
130 receiving yards per game
6A Georgia
Won state championship 100 and 300 Hurdles.
Committing tomorrow

Dipshit comment from Mountain D aside, looks like a solid pickup. Very raw obviously, but looks to have some natural receiving ability in addition to the speed/agility. I will say in the first 2 minutes of highlights, it looks like flat out bad D against him, not great routes, but at the 2:10-ish mark, he runs a nice route to find the seam and get open for a TD.
As to the unranked > 4*... This is more a product of how the rankings work. Rankings follow offers generally, not vice versa. Barmore went from unrated to 4* in the matter of a couple of weeks or so once the offers flew in. The UT offer creates attention, someone watches the film and then has the "well derp" moment.
Assuming you guys land him, solid pickup.

There will be no need for that. Those games won't be stressful enough for teammates to fight each other on the sideline.

Cade Mays is going to be a beast.They are butthurt because they know this. Kids got everything you want in a tackle to include a nasty streak. He will also likely start at RT if he wins the starting job. He will be competing vs Isaiah Wilson a former 5 star tackle prospect for the job.

Incorrect, he’s nasty as frick. I’ve watched his film. Get that boy some college work and he’s going to be an animal. Of course, you wouldn’t be this angry if he was a scrub but we already know that.
He likely starts opposite Trey Smith had he stuck with UT. At UGA he will be competing vs a former 5 star tackle and massive kid in Isaiah Wilson for a chance to start on our line unless he moves inside which is unlikely.

Hard not to be. I think if Pruitt manages to pull in a top 15 (or heaven forbid top 10) class this cycle and isn't a total bust as a coach then we have some good things on the horizon as well. With a full cycle and the talent coming out of TN this coming year, we have a good shot to be way up there in the rankings. With the hard cap 25 I think the wealth will have to be spread out a little bit more which puts UGA at a slight inconvenience just due to the amount of elite talent in your backyard.
Also I do think Mays will be good, especially under Pittman. Probably sit for a couple years til hes ready ala Ben Cleveland. But you do question his high amt of penalties and also the fact that he was bigger than 99% of the people he played against. Also doesn't seem very bright but thats just personal opinion. Would have loved to have him but yes now that he spurned the hometown OBVIOUSLY i never wanted him and he's always sucked
