Just wanted to say Congratulations

I requested access for this board to say congratulations to y'all, so I want to make due on my promise.
First of all, and arguably most importantly, I want to let you know how impressed I was by your fan base on Monday night. Almost everyone who I talked to after the game leaving the stadium was incredibly gracious after the game on Monday night. I think it was in large part due to having the same feeling we had, the previous year against Clemson (although I'll take the 4 out of 7 before that ) but in the midst of victory, your fans were much classier than I would have expected.
Next, I know it doesn't take away from your victory in the slightest, but definitely don't worry about those UGA (or LSU) fans who are complaining about the refs and saying it diminishes your National Championship. There's a difference between having an impact on the game, and winning or losing the game, and your coaching staff and players deserve the credit for that, especially in the wake of the injuries the Tide experienced leading up to the game.
At halftime, the only thing I was worried about at the beginning of the second half was Bama going to Tua. That was an incredibly ballsy move by Saban to go to the true freshman QB after Hurts had got you to that point, but Jalen was the type of player we succeeded in defending all year long. I would think that Saban knew that, and then made the change. Even more impressive, he stayed with him after the 1st drive (think it was 3 and out) when many coaches would have gone back to the original starter. It's incredibly frightening thinking about Saban with an elite QB going forward, but it appears as if Tua very well could be that level of player. I would go on about the defense as well, but I think y'all know that will continue to be elite with the DL and LBs still in Tuscaloosa.
One day, I hope to know that feeling you experienced on Monday night (and 5 out of the last 9 years) but for now, I wanted congratulate y'all on an incredible season and a job very well done

And to type that much and not bring up the refs
you'll never make it as an LSU fan.
Good luck to UGA, and hope we meet in Atlanta again next for the SEC title.

Thanks. I think we all anticipate this only being the beginning of a new rivalry at the top of the conference.
Helluva ball game.
Helluva ball game.

Oh, and let me throw this in as how we need a 9 game SEC schedule. Perhaps that may have mixed up some things with the CFP, but I'd enjoy the extra game, with the chance to play UGA more, than play Chattanooga.

Awesome game! Instant classic!
Congrats on the Dawg's great season! The future is bright. Looking forward to more great UA vs UGA games.

Thanks. Very classy post.
To tell the truth, I was incredibly worried about playing Georgia. I do believe that Georgia is a rising power & hope there will be many games between Bama and Georgia in the future.
I was at the point in the game that I didn't hold out hope that Bama would win this year. Too many injuries, & Jalen didn't seem to be progressing any. So I was extremely happy that we won that game & the last play with Tua & Smith was, to me, a legendary play. Will go down in Bama lore.
Congrats on your season.

Just hope we'll get one from you soon enough. Saban just has a machine built right now that reloads every single year regardless of who is around him.

I don't want to create a new thread for misery.
So I'll just bump this old one
Congrats on the win yesterday. Really cool moment for Hurts. I'm hopeful that we'll eventually get over the hump against you and I was really impressed by the way we played yesterday. There is so much talent on your team, and I fully expect y'all to win both playoff games by double digits.
Good luck the rest of the way and hopefully eventually y'all will have to say congrats to us on our board

Georgia has a great Team.
I,mistakenly, thought Georgia's Defense was not as strong as last Season.I was wrong.
Definitely the best O-Line Bama has lined up against.
It's Monday morning and I'm,kind of,still trying to figure out how Bama won that game.
Georgia will destroy their Bowl opponent.

Coach Bryant.......“It’s awfully important to win with humility. It’s also important to lose. I hate to lose worse than anyone, but if you never lose you won’t know how to act. If you lose with humility, then you can come back.”

Went over to Athen in mid 90s when we played there. We ended up blasting Georgia that day, but the Dawg fans were really classy about it. I've kind of liked y'all ever since.
Oh, and welcome to the top of the heap. You'll put up with a ton of garbage and hate. But it's worth it. Embrace the melts. It's the only way to deal with that stuff.
