Must say I can’t blame them. LSU should have been able to land a good OC. What a mess they have been since getting rid of Les. So many head scratchers over there. Rudderless ship.

I think it has been a long time (back in the 90s?) since Ensminger had play calling duties. I guess they can get him on the cheap, if that matters. It is anybody's guess what an Ensminger offense looks like in the year 2018.

It was great of us to keep Aranda because I think he is the best coach on our staff hands down but if we end up hiring ensminger that is going to really suck

So you think he's gone after next year? I've already called my shot about 8-4 ceiling for LSU. But the buyout is still 8.5 M. LSU is paying off Canada & Les still. You'd think the new OC will have some guaranteed years so there is more then you either promote Aranda or limit your coaching search to guys that will work with him and be okay with his salary. Seems like a shite situation.
