Foreshadowing Monday’s game

3 times in history have the two teams playing for the national title in football, played basketball leading up to the game.....

All 3 times the winner of the basketball game won the football game...

When we win on Monday, we'll go for the tie-breaker at Gymnastics on Friday

Bama fans don't even know they have a basketball team. Or an actual school with classes and books.

We know we have a basketball team. I'm just not sure the team knows that they are part of a basketball team.

The team is playing so bad right now.

This team plays like the freshmen they are. Very inconsistent. Of course, Georgia is shooting lights out. They have not been a three-point shooting team until now. Some times you run into a buzz saw.

That is a bogus excuse. Collin Sexton isn't sticking around to gain more experience

I haven't been paying enough attention to Georgia. Maten is an absolute stud.

This is the best game we've played so far this season. We have a lot of young players but if we get them to step up like they have today alongside Maten we can have a pretty good team.

If y'all can consistently score outside the paint like you have today, you guys will be a tough out.

Who is this toolbag color guy that keeps pronouncing Sexton as Saxton.

Georgia basketball traditionally is a good team against zone defense.

What I'm surprised about is why Alabama isn't full court pressing more and trying to trap on inbounds more, because Georgia is middle school like vs it.

(as I type this, they did so but haven't done it enough)

I've watched Bama 3 times now I think and I can't figure out why this Petty kid gets 30-35 minutes a game. He's just not there yet.

I just looked at the stats and it looks like he's a very streaky shooter and I've just never seen him when he's hitting.

Avery's gonna have to incorporate the press when they play big, physical teams like Georgia. They have NO inside game, therefore Georgia can press the 3-point line and basically shut Alabama down. Bama's GOT to change the tempo of the game!
