UGA is a great university & program. I have lots of respect for Georgia. Very glad you guys are on the stage with us.
But, for 3-4 hours on Monday night I am going to hate your guts and want to bathe in your tears. I want Bama to tea bag your team on nation-wide, live, color television.
After that, we cool.

The key was that, no matter how awkwardly it was done, Mark Richt was removed swiftly... We had a reasonably talented roster... it had some gaps that needed to be addressed and the guys on the roster needed development and a culture change... but he didn't inherit a completely shite program, like most coaches do if their predecessor was fired.
I think we're all even a bit surprised that it's been *this* good, this fast... but most of us expected to be in Atlanta against Bama this season at least... just thought we would be facing Bama back in 2017 with a little less on the line...

I think you’re just happy to be here and don’t play Bama every year.
Once the big stage doesn’t feel like a once in a lifetime ordeal and you tangle with Bama regularly the bromance will wear off quick.
This “mutual respect” is how I imagine a non Bama/Aub/LSU west team making the big dance for the first time in forever feeling, against an east power like a Meyer led UF they don’t see on a regular basis. They would just be happy to be in the same conversation finally.
And not playing on a regular basis goes along way towards respect vs rivalry, or could you actually see yourself feeling similar matching up against a dominant AU/UF?
I actually respect/like Georgia because y’all are a good program that’s fun to match up with occasionally. Auburn and Bama will always be more personal though, no kumbaya in those matchups

Its weird how little xs and os talk ive heard from the atlanta sports radio guys. It's like they are still reveling in the Rose Bowl and are ignoring the championship game for the most part.

Putting WAY too much importance on that winning the conference bullshite. The conference titles are nice and all (Bama's got PLENTY of em) but National Championships and even mere Playoff Appearances is where the shite's really at.
If you would put things in their proper perspective, you would know that if Bama wins, they are the de facto SEC Champs! If Georgia wins, well, they are the champs. When you play Bama you can't just beat them once, you gotta beat them twice.
