Daboll is trash. Worst playcalling and personnel decision I’ve seen under Saban. Makes Nussmeir look like a genius.

Someone described his game plans as throwing shite against the wall to see if it sticks. Very accurate description.

I agree. Terrible playcalling. Defense will have to play lights out next week if the offensive playcalling doesn't change.

You’re full of poop my friend. He’s awful. Kiffin would have this offense humming with the talent we have (even with a limited Hurts at QB). He’s just not a gifted playcaller. No rhythm or feel to anything he does.

I don’t like Kiffin, I think he’s a spoiled, petulant child with big entitlement issues. But I also think he would build an offensive game plan around Hurts that would make DC’s tremble. You can’t make Jalen fit the scheme, you’ve got to work with what you have. And that means throwing the ball as little as possible and making the throws and reads simple when you must. Daboll is a dumbass and if that was the best we could do, we need to try again. Dan Enos needs a job. He could not be any worse than the idiot we have.

Worse than that is the drive in the first quarter where we march down the field to the red zone, and then call a slow developing run to the outside with Bo, that loses 5 yards. Got bailed out via penalty 2 plays later, and on the new set of downs we call a slow developing outside run with Bo....that loses 4-5 yards. I was hoping we were trying to set something up for later in the game...but nope.



Also, Saban was bitching at Daboll for calling another one of those roll outs where Hurts doesn't look upfield until he is 2 yards from the sideline, only to throw it away or take the loss of yardage. Why we would roll him out to the short side of the field where there are fewer receivers, less space, and tighter throwing windows?

I specifically saw Saban say the words "he won't throw the fricking ball", when yelling at Daboll about that play.

I am as pissed as Saban is about it. We run that same basic play roughly 4 or 5 times a game, and it destroys our drives.
