I will vote for Roy Moore. Maybe the ethics comittee will not let him be seated and Kay Ivey will get to appoint his replacement. I cannot vote for Doug Jones.

The same 'person' I voted for President last year.
I'm writing in Scooby Doo.
It's my small, private protest for the failure of democracy in these cases.

Jones supports late term abortion.
He will answer to a higher power for that but I cannot give him my vote.

Doug is pushing it with these text messages.

A more accurate description of his stance would be that he doesn’t believe it’s the government’s job to tell women whether they’re allowed to have a late term abortion or not.
Single issue voting by Alabamians is why the state is among the most backwards in the county and towards the very bottom in almost every relevant measurement.
Politician has an “R” by his name and says he hates abortion. WELL BUH GAWD HE’S GOT MY VOTE!!1!!

Also, in case anyone is wondering, abortion is still allowed to be fully tax deductible in some instances - despite Republicans having control of the Presidency and Congress multiple times since Roe v. Wade.
The truth is nobody in government gives a frick about abortion. But as you can see, saying you’re “against” it wins the collective vote of the ignorant.
ETA: And for the record, I’m among the most staunchly anti-abortion individuals you’ll ever meet. I am anti-abortion 100% of the time, regardless of circumstance. However, I do not vote based on that issue, because politicians don’t give a shite about it until it’s time to get elected.

I'm not going to vote for Doug Jones due to him caucusing with the Democrats.
I'm not going to vote for Roy Moore because he is a fricking moron.
Will probably write in my dad's name.

Uninformed voting is an issue on both sides of the aisle. The dumbing down of this country is rapidly accelerating. It's a problem.

There is a political board for these types of questions.

Jones.
I despise Roy Moore.
I would have voted against him even before the sexual misconduct allegations.
frick Roy Moore.

Politicians are all trash. It's a shitty situation to have to choose between these two idiots. I won't vote because it's a no win situation. I don't share the beliefs of either of these jackasses. The loser will be the state of Alabama no matter the outcome.
