I’ve seen from multiple Arky fans that his 7-5 record is impressive given the fact that 3 YEARS earlier they went 1-11. Scott Frost took an 0-12 team and 2 year later took them to 12-0 and I’m somehow supposed to believe that a coach that takes SMU to 7-5 after 3 years is the next coming of Saban? Spare me. You would think that of all fanbases, Arky would know about crowing a coach too early. Would love to see this board the day after Bielema was hired.

I understand that, but they keep using the excuse that they went 1-11, when in reality, after 3 years that season means little to none.

Ucf had a bad year that year. They were also not far removed from a BCS bowl win and back to back conference titles before he became HC. Their program was not left in horrible condition. SMU was coming off of june jones who I believe admitted to mailing it in on the recruiting trail his last few years

UCF is a way better job than SMU. Even with that 0-12 season they still had waaaaaay more talent than SMU
