They usually do. Meanwhile, you played nobody all year with the exception of Auburn twice. Your resume is almost as bad as Bamas. What is your excuse?

Oklahoma is ranked #57 in Total Defense. Here was where those in your schedule ranked.

UTEP #107 in Total Defense

Ohio State #8 in Total Defense

Tulane #100 in Total Defense

Baylor #112 in Total Defense

Iowa State #46 in Total Defense

Texas #42 in Total Defense

Kansas State #97 in Total Defense

Texas Tech #99 in Total Defense

Oklahoma State #74 in Total Defense

TCU #19 in Total Defense

Kansas #117 in Total Defense

West Virginia #110 in Total Defense

Ten teams in your conference and only one of them have a decent Defense. The SEC has three in the top ten and five in the top twenty. So, yeah, I’m feeling good about my assessment of your chances against Georgia.

It will be the same gameplan as Auburn. Stop run at all cost bring pressure and press man. If he can still carve us up he deserves it.

My thought is that we should play to control their passing game and make them have to run to beat us.

He was clearly not fully healthy.

Damn, Georgia fans, get ahold of yourselves and act like you've won games before.

It doesn't look like it.

''Kerryon clearly healthy.''

''Hey, Stidham and Mayfield -- basically the same guy, amirite?''

There's a lot of insecurity in this thread.

Let's look at the offenses Georgia has faced, I'll bold their conference opponents:

Scoring offense:
Appalachian St. - #33
Notre Dame #21
Samford - Sad!
Miss State - #36
Tennessee - #116th
Vanderbilt - #94th
Missouri - #10 (7-5 team)
Florida - #108th
South Carolina - #98th
Auburn - #25
Kentucky - #85th

Georgia Tech - #71

It's not the piece of shite offenses, the SEC are just all defensive juggernauts!

I disagree. Stop the run first. Mayfield will get his but they're unstoppable when Rodney Anderson starts rolling.

Especially? It's been like 21 - 7 or something crazy like that since 1990. That's not ''plenty''.

Defensively we are light years ahead of OU.....and who knows if they can stop the run because no one in the big 12 runs the ball. OU hasn't seen a defense all year. They don't even play defense in the big 12

Drew Lock hit two perfect passes but didn't do shite in the second half. We adjusted and started playing coverage.

On the other hand, you didn't even attempt to stop us on Defense. We can score on anyone.

UGA just needs to run, run, run, run, run, and run.

Then on defense rush only 3 and drop 8.

For some reason though SEC coaches refuse to do this.

OU will put too much pressure on your LBs. Sorry, i dont care how good they are. We have RBs that catch the ball 15 yards down the field....same for our H-back, then a TE that is bigger and faster than any LB you have. There's just too much space to cover for LBs.

Run the ball and keep OU on the sideline and drop everyone back in coverage.

That's how UGA can beat OU.

Don't you worry your little sweet redneck heart. Jumbo Jim is salivating going against the softest defense in the playoffs. All he wants to do is run dominate, but Auburn shut that shite down in JHS and he finally adjusted for the SECCG.

OK doesn't have NFL caliber defenses like Bama, UGA, and Clemson (those 3 are top 6 in total defense, OK is 55th against the run). I envision a few quick 3 and outs which will spell trouble for your gameplan.

Now Mayfield does spread the ball everywhere. He's slippery and creates time for passing. Teams have 4 weeks to prepare for each other.

Here's to an injury free, referee free influenced, clean game.

I don't think you have any idea just how many different people you will have to stop.

Yes, he doesnt realize how good Rodney Anderson and Trey Sermon have been, especially Anderson over the last third-ish of the season. Or that Mark Andrews might be the best TE in the country this year. Also, while OU doesn't have a true #1 WR, it is a fairly talented group. Mayfield is also a decent runner, Manziel-like in his ability to avoid pressure. He is also highly accurate on the move, he can consistently put throws into tight windows while scrambling. Something Kirby has proven he has trouble stopping, is guys who can avoid pressure and make accurate throws while moving. Even at Bama he could never stop guys like that. Hell, his defenses could barely slow them down.

However.

Everything about OU's offense goes through Mayfield, because everything starts with the pass. Unlike more pro-style offenses, OU throws to setup the run. Despite how good Anderson has been, he still hasn't reached 1,000 yards yet. The WRs are fairly talented, but have been mediocre for most of the year. Andrews is an excellent player, but unlike Big12 teams, UGA has the talent at LB to completely nullify him. If there is no one on his team playing well enough to help him, UGA will get to Mayfield too.

Last, but certainly not least, Kirby and company get almost a month to gameplan Mayfield. No more short breaks to plan for a dual threat like Mayfield. Now he gets the time necessary, it's a huge deal. Every other time Kirby, Bama or UGA, has coached against a great dual threat, he has had 10 days or less to gameplan and coach up the defense. Now he gets a month, it will make a huge difference.

If UGA can limit Mayfield, which is admittedly a big if, then everything else will fall into place. And OU will get smashed, just like in their last playoff appearance.

Mayfield brought this on himself too. Karma says he is owed an absolute beatdown after his arrogant arse's trash-talking all year long, and I can't wait to see it.
