Sheridan was on Bo Mattingly's show earlier and says he would place odds on Gus to Arkansas at 6/5 with a Auburn CFP semi final loss and even money with an Auburn CFP semi final win. AUB loses to UGA? Done deal, Gus to Arkansas.

He's respected in the Vegas/gambling community and all he's doing is setting odds. Not really predicting anything.

I would bet there is a 0% chance that Gus leaves Auburn for Arkansas this year. Maybe a few years down the road he might jump but even I would question his judgement if he were to leave now with what he has going on and coming back.

Should've stopped listening at Danny Sheridan, but absolutely stopped here. If AU makes the CFP there is no way Arky waits a month to find out if Gus MIGHT consider them IF he loses. They'd move on and make a hire.
Also, AU is actively considering a new deal for Gus literally right now.

Arky is where coaches go to die. All this talk about stability and Gus wanting out. Arkys longest tenured coach is Broyles, then Nutt. The rest all lasted about 3-5 years. None of them went on to bigger jobs.
ETA When Gus came to AU the players were ones he recruited. So it was not a total rebuild.
