so hes now been fired. there were absolutely some bad times at the end, but i think when i will look back on his time at a&m, i wont forget that there were some good times where we all legitimately thought it was going to work out

so goodbye kevin sumlin. i wish you well at wherever it is that you end up

In.

But tbh, I wish him and his family well. I don’t dislike him as a person, unlike fran who I despised, and I hope sumlin can find success in his next spot....as long as it’s not against a&m or in the sec. thanks & gig ‘em.

The turning point was the 2014 Mississippi State game if we're being completely honest.

Sumlin's record prior to that game: 25-6 (12-6)

Sumlin's record since: 26-20 (13-17)

He improved our program no doubt. Didn’t work out but I appreciate it.

It was damn fun when KS and JFF put up video game numbers for a couple years but the fall from almost being great sucked, seems like 20 years ago. Wish him luck wherever he lands, he needs to hide the stationary and envelopes from the misses though.

You can be bad and you can be good, but not much worse than being just good enough to have hope and then get your dick kicked in over and over. Wish it worked out, Summy had a chance to be a legend.

For the record, this it the first time I've worn my Aggie Ring since the UCLA game.

Never fun to watch someone get fired

That being said, all the tears being shed for him on Texags are just embarrassing. We made him a very rich man for very mediocre results, he was always a complete dick to the media and is NOT the angel so many apparently think he is.

He left the team looking pretty salty. We've got players.

There was one awesome year and some other fun wins. I have nothing against him and he left us with plenty of talent. If he ends up at ASU I hope he does well

Some of the 2-deep shouldn't be. If I were coach with what is currently returning (not including any recruits), my 2-deep would be:

QB: Starkel/Blumrick
HB: Williams/Kibodi
WR: Buckley/Jones
WR: Paul/Chriss
WR: Ausbon/Davis
TE: Hansford/Horry
LT: Martin/Dietsch
LG: Sutherland/Prater
C: McCoy/Anderson
RG: Lanfear/McCollum
RT: Green/Moore

DE: Clemons/Robinson
DT: Keke/Mack
NT: Madubuike/Moton
DE: Durham/Johnson
LB: Hines/Johnson
LB: Dotson/Marchiol
LB: Alaka/Okeke
CB: Renfro/Jones
CB: Harvey/Oliver
FS: Wilson/Pryor
SS: Tucker/Carper

P: Mann
K: LaCamera

You're assuming you know who the coach is and what his schemes on offense and defense are.

I'm using a generic 3WR/1TE/1RB offense and a generic 4-3 defense as the base.

I always thought he was a dick. Not sorry to see him walk.
