Within the last 24 hours I've had to read about Arkansas firing Bert "on the field" which is a lie, and now this BS "news" by "football scoop" that "coaches" say our coaching search is a "mess" just 24 hours into it.
On behalf of all Arkansas fans, I'd like to say eat a bag of dicks.

Arkansas gives HC 5 years to show his worth. Said coach fails by every measure of success. Arkansas swiftly fires said coach after 5th season as any school would do. Arkansas begins searching for new HC as any school would.

It's all just because we don't have an AD yet. Obviously the coaches we contact will know who is "leading" the search and that's all that matters.

In fairness (and I'll double check), I think it was CBB himself who first said he was fired 'as he came off the field'. But he didn't literally mean 'as he walked off the field.' The media just passed along what he said and then everybody ran with it.

Yes, if you watch his presser.. he was asked and he reiterated that he was pulled into the office.. That in the commotion he said that...
It isn't a deal at all. I watched his PC and he is one classy dude for sure. I appreciate his integrity in all of this.
