It's so obvious what we need to do here. The smoke is clearing. He's the guy. Screw all these other candidates, with the exception of Matt Campbell.

Kiffin is exactly who and what we need. He's not a kid anymore. He will be fine here.

Would Ron Mexico be Joey Freshwater's QB coach?

Yup

He'll do some serious work on Dickson, FPD will bust him for DUI.

No to Kiffy

He can coach an offense.

He can recruit, which means even if he fails, there will be talent for the next guy.

- His time in the NFL means nothing

- Improved Tennessee the one year he was there

- His stint at USC was tainted by sanctions caused by Carroll

- Has FAU at 8-3 after they were 3-9 last year under Partridge

- Has three years under Saban now

- Would immediately boost our recruiting and social media presence/publicity

We could do a lot worse

I've been commodore of the Lane Train for weeks now... He's my #1, #2, and,#3 choice.... You go out and get him NOW... Hell, to come back to the sec, he'd damn near pay us!

Edit: he also just hung 52 on his direct rival and next closest competition in C-USA in FIU and won by about 30

I think Kiffin is well versed in what wins in the SEC west...

Would be intriguing to see what he could do with our recruiting and what kind of staff he could put together.
