As a rival fan, I would be most upset by this hire. What he has done at Duke is pretty amazing considering the limitations there

We're clamoring for the inside scoop.

Rumors from...??? Dont care about links just add some kind of thing. Cause Cutcliffe isnt a big news rumor if thats what you were trying to do by going out of the forum for these.

I'm ok with cutcliffe. Question is if he will get Chavis from aggieville

Big news. Any idea who may be on his staff?

That would actually be a good hire. I doubt Cutcliffe wants the expectations that would come with the Tennesee job, though. He can ride in to the sunset at Duke and they'll be happy with what he does.

Sucks Cutcliffe would not come back to Ole miss.. Right now he would be better for us over Luke

Firing Cutcliffe was probably the worst decision of this century in OM athletics.

He would be. Cutcliffe can coach. They should have hired him last go around.

Would be a better hire than Gruden for sure. Hoping he can lure Kurt Roper back to his staff.

Ole Miss let their SEC West co-Championship go to their heads in 2003 and they ran Cutcliffe off after one bad season after Eli graduated. Dumbasses.

In fairness, his back channels are as good as yours.

Man Gruden just doesn't come off as a guy that is going to be good at recruiting. I want TN to be competitive again. I really think the sec is at its best when Bama, TN, GA and Florida are good.

You would seriously take John Chavis back at Tennessee? After all the leads that he has blown at LSU and A&M? I'm not trying to be disrespectful or provoke you at all. I'm seriously asking here. While Chavis was the DC in Knoxville Tennessee had more talent than everybody in the SEC save maybe Florida and LSU and we all saw what UF and LSU did to Chavis' Tennessee defense. Damn you Vols are more nostalgic than Bama fans and that's saying something.

Accurate.

Two kinds of people love a soft zone: DCs named John Chavis and the OCs that coach against them.

Cutcliffe HC
Tee Martin OC

That is best case for Vols.

Naturally they'll go with Gruden who will do very little and put the Vols in the poor house.

True.

Their only division co-championship.
