What our offense is missing...

a dawg at WR. We do have some playmakers, and these young guns will go and get it. But we're lacking physicality. I love my man Ridley, but he is way too soft. On that 3rd and 15 pass play that went for 31 yards he stepped out of bounds to avoid contact. I'm ready to see a receiver man up.

Would have been real nice to have ArDarius for 1 more year.
But, thems the breaks.

I like all of our young guys

Devastating run blockers.

We have fantastic receivers. We're only using one of them.

I think our offense is pretty set at WR. I mean, the winning touchdown had a true freshman breaking a tackle to score a touchdown. Ridley had a buck 70 receiving. He went out of bounds because there were less than 30 seconds on the game clock. He was trying to play it smart.

I would say Ridley played it very smart there. We were down to our last TO and around 30 seconds. Don't take a risk and possibly getting stripped of the ball.

Hurts completed passes to 5 different players on Saturday. The game winning touchdown was to someone not named Ridley. It isn't a bad thing that we are getting the ball to the best WR in the SEC more than the other guys.

You apparently haven't seen any other catch he's made this year where he battles for every single yard.. he wants to score on every catch. Thankfully on this play, he had the game clock in mind.

Wait, so why did you act like your first points were a good thing?

I've watched him all year. He also gets frustrated when he doesn't get the perfect ball or doesn't get the ball at all. I can't count how many times I've seen him throw his hands up at Hurts. He also didn't want to run that play on 3rd and 15...Hurts: "I saw something in the defense and I told him the play I wanted him to run. He kind of shook his head at first, but I told him to trust me."

Receiver A: 31% of all passes completed
Receiver B: 34% of all passes completed
Receiver C: 43% of all passes completed
Which one is 2017 Calvin Ridley?

I didn't like Kiffin's philosophy either. And I'm not playing your silly guessing games. Take the RB's out of it.

Well, my first points were meant to prove your erroneous "we're only using one" comment wrong.
And my last point doesn't disprove my first points, just kind of statement against how anyone could be upset that the best WR in the SEC is getting most of the targets.

I see. Well, did you think I was basing my comments on one game, or probably more like the entirety of the season?

I mean, either way, your point wasn't a good one, so does it really matter?

So, you don't think we've targeted Ridley far more than the other WR's?

I know we have, and there is good reason for it. He is the best WR in the SEC, arguably in the nation. But to say that we only use one WR is just factually incorrect. I'm not sure what is so hard here.

So Ridley steps out on one play and he's too soft? Wow. We have some young guns on the wr corps. They'll beef up, but to call them soft is ridiculous. They need to catch the balls thrown their way. That's the bigger issue. Who was blocking outside on those sweeps in the fourth qtr against MSU?
Our offense is missing the ability to check down on obvious incoming blitzes. Right now, teams are loading the box on running and passing downs. I'm hoping that slant to Smith is a sign of things to come.

Which is it? You know we have, or it's factually incorrect?
