Does anyone want to play them right now ? I said it before with Clemson last year. The weaker the Conference, the better chances one of its teams will win the Playoffs. The rest of the country will limp into the playoffs and they will be fresh and playing on all cylinders.

You mean that team where the defense stands around with their thumb up their asses for 4 quarters while their Heisman QB lights up the opponent? The one that gives up 40 points per game to any team with a pulse?
No, not really. Clemson, a healthy Bama, Auburn, and maybe a couple of other teams would push them to the limit. They have a modest running game, no D, and an awesome QB. Iowa State beat them. Not skeered.

They would torch our defense, and I think we have a really good defense. We don’t have enough quality players in the secondary to hang with them.

Sooners have no defense and can't handle a good pass rush.

They can't stop the run. Auburn would run it down it their throats and then Stidham will light them up with play action. OU would score sure, but Auburn's defense would only need a couple of stops and I think they would get them. I think Auburn is about two td's better than OU. I also think this will be one of those classic Iron Bowls. It should be a war.

How good is their offensive line? Feel like that's where teams can disrupt their offense.
I remember a lot of people jumping on their bandwagon in '15, and Clemson beat them by 20.

Sooners are a joke, with an even bigger joke of a QB. They play in a shite conference and they have an even shittier schedule. They are kept artificially high because of ESPiN. frick Chokelahoma!

The defense is not any better than the Clemson beat down. But the OL is improved quite a bit. TE Mark Andrews and HB Dimitri Flowers create major match up advantages against LBs. 3 decent RBs also. Fun to watch for sure.

Sooners are tied with New Mexico for 75 th in scoring defense and are 69th in sacks allowed. They should be no where near the top 4. They may very well have the best player, but they are not a legit National Champion contender.
