Is he autistic? Maybe some CT? Don’t mean to sound like an arse and am not being sarcastic. He was so incredibly bad. First time I’ve ever muted my tv during a game because of the announcer.

Yep was there watching him today and he has a different gear than everyone else on the field. He will be good. Probably not rated higher solely based on size and not having a QB that really pushes the ball down the field. Most of his production is on screens, hitches, and gadget plays.

LSU should give this kid a look. 5 TDs today in the 4A State Championship game against Kilgore who has been giving up very few points a game all season. Good wheels and extremely accurate even on the run… and that’s without much WR talent around him. Our whole suite has been having Joe Burrow flash backs watching him.

Random Saturday thoughts… I often find myself puzzled how things never came together for this guy after college. Always felt like he had the tools to be as elite as Chase and Jefferson. Had a few untimely injuries and not the best QBs throwing to him, but overall just confusing case.

I really don’t see us contending for a national championship in the next 3 years. We do not have a national championship foundation at the moment and are losing the pieces that could possibly be part of one.

And will likely never happen again. LSU’s other national championships came from an era/brand of football that we are far removed from.
The issues leading to LSU’s return to mediocracy is beyond coaching and players. There’s going to have to be a large scale overhaul or restructuring of how recruiting and roster management is conducted if LSU is to ever be competitive again. It is what it is.
