The same can be said about you.

You are propping up UGA's mediocrity and cherry picking bad years for Auburn. Every single UGA fan would take Auburn's last decade over UGA's. You are lying if you say otherwise. Hell, every SEC fanbase, except for bama, would take the last decade Auburn has had.

Perhaps you have trouble reading. If you are exclusively asking me would I want a Natty in the last 10 years? Sure... but not at the expense of buying it and then being the arse end of the conference in multiple seasons as well. Not to mention that in the past 10 years we also have 2012 as a year where a shot was there... best SECCG in the past decade probably? Not the outcome I'd have preferred obviously, but I can appreciate the quality play. Besides, the current trajectory of the programs matters even more than the last 10 years, so... no. I wouldn't trade spots with Auburn right now. One program is heading to Atlanta with a chance to get into the CFP... the other one is trying to not lose to it's 2 biggest rivals in order to back into Atlanta, and may fire their coach if they can't manage it.

Name the program with the most recent national title and the most total national titles in college football from the Atlanta metro

*Shared Coaches Poll...

Zero unanimous Nattys...

13-3 since coaching change in 2001... definitely second fiddle Giant Queef.

This is getting tired an old. The FEDS got involved. If you think they don't know what they are doing, then you are a bigger moron than I already think you are.

Auburn is in the exact same boat. It will be an uphill climb, but that can be said for UGA also.

The NCAA literally had to rewrite the rules due to the investigation. If you don't think it was bought and paid for, I don't know what to tell you. Also... at a LOLburn fan feeling intellectually superior to anyone on these boards... Have fun with your Dunning-Kruger moment... it'll be amusing for everyone else.

UGA has already secured a spot in Atlanta. Beyond that, it's an uphill climb for every team, Bama included. Auburn and UGA are not in the same boat. Auburn is in *must win* territory. UGA could lose this week, and still have an opportunity to make the CFP with a win in Atlanta. Auburn is lose and you're out... lose twice and you may not have Gus any longer... dunno whether you view that as a positive or not.

Other than from 1980-1982 I would agree. Dooley had some awful records in the 60’s and 70’s that would get coaches fired today. And of course 1980 was a long time ago. I can see why the Georgia fans are excited and they have a right to be when looking at their history. Not many high points and certainly not any that were sustained outside of 2 or 3 year spurts that were anomalies not the norm.

The last time UGA fans were this excited was 2003.

Then they ran into Nick Saban.

Twice.

So in other words........Auburn didn't break any NCAA rules.

That you are making excuse for Auburn's success.......because of the lack of UGA's

but keep spewing your BS.

Did I say that NCAA rules were broken? No... I said it was bought. These two things were not mutually exclusive at the time...

Why? We're ahead of expectations? As opposed to a team that lost to Troy...

Ole Miss won the West once.

LOL, no they didnt. Just because they hung a banner for an sec west co-championship, that doesn't make it true. They had the same conference record as LSU did that season, except LSU beat them in oxford to win the tie breaker and go to ATL as the west CHAMPION. Ole miss is a fricking joke. They also have 3 national title banners hanging in their stadium, maybe 1 of them is legitimate and recognized by the ncaa. They're just that shitty of a program that they have to "claim" accomplishments that they didn't achieve. Ole Miss has no shame.

When do we start counting year 2? He was the interim head coach for roughly half of 2015... but that's fair.

As an AU fan losing 9 out of the last 11 sucks, however, UGA winning 9 out of the last 11 has gotten them a whopping 2 game lead in the head to head series all-time.

DSOR is probably the most competitive rivalry in all of college football, especially for as many years as it has been played.

Hell, lets look at AU vs the best of the SEC.

AU-UGA: 55-57-8
AU-UA: 35-45-1. You would think the gap would be greater with as good as UA normally is and having to play them every year.
AU-LSU: 22-29-1
AU-UF: 43-38-2 (UGA has played 12 more games against)
AU-UT: 28-21-3

AU all-time record vs Big 6:

183-190-15 (Total Games 388). Winning % of 49.1 (counting ties as half a win)

Now lets look at UGA vs the best of the SEC.

UGA-AU: 57-55-8
UGA-UA: 25-38-4 (AU has played 14 more games against)
UGA-LSU: 13-16-1 (AU has played 32 more games against)
UGA-UF: 50-43-2
UGA-UT: 22-23-2. (Surprisingly, AU has played 5 more games against) Figured UGA would have lead in series due to UT sucking since 1998.

UGA all-time record vs Big 6:

167-175-17 (Total Games 359) Winning % of 48.9 (counting ties as half a win)

These numbers just prove as I said before that the 2 teams are evenly matched throughout history.

Also, proves as another poster stated above that AU has now and has had historically a harder schedule than UGA.
