Omg it's pathetic. It puts the "I called that play" interview to shame.

Haven't seen it yet but I can pretty much guess exactly how it went and his attitude. He was probably fairly upbeat and happy and repeated something like "it was ugly but it's nice to fight through adversity and get a win for the second week in a row" and "I thought the players showed a lot of toughness fighting back into this game even though things weren't going our way early on and we made plenty of mistakes blah blah blah."

It doesn't bother me in the least bit that hes positive like that and seems to celebrate every win regardless, that's just who he is and how he's been from the jump. I don't think it's bravado or him trying to "sell himself" or get another year, I think it's genuine happiness for his players getting a win. He's not one to feign anger (or any other emotion that isn't genuine) to reporters or fans because he knows thats what they want to see, thats just not his MO and I'm OK with that.

It would be endearing (and has been in his past seasons) if things were different, unfortunately they're not.

It's not difficult to find

It was very defensive. "I made adjustments on several occasions that lead to touchdowns," or something similar enough.

We need context of the situation.

What you referenced wasn't a response to an asked question, it was Nutt interjecting how he called that play and he called a lot of good plays that day, Chuck.

Defensive because he knows his job is on the line.

"Do you regret TJ Hammonds not touching the ball more?"

"He was standing beside me and I said give it to him."

That quote is not exact but I feel no need to watch it again. Watch it yourself and see. Play semantics all you want, but it was absolutely an attempt at "look how great I am."

It sounds like you are trying to make something out of essentially nothing

He's been saying they need to get the ball to him more for 2 years now.

Wow, he's saying I told Dan to give him the damn ball.

What an egomaniac.

Not at all. The media finally asked him tough questions and he snapped.

No where close. I'm no fan of BB, but he's handled himself well considering the hell he's catching from us. I feel for the guy. He got a little snippy during the conference, but no where near losing it and no where near Nutt's "I called that play brotha!!!".

I'd love to have a beer with BB...even now. Nutt? I despised and still do. Televangelist, shady car salesman, arse eyed mf'er.

Hmmmm

Watching him engage in a cat fight with our media drew parallels in my opinion

Just watched it and I don't have a single problem with how he answered most of the questions.

The first one about the scene on TV when they went up 2 TD's and CBB put the folder over his face with what the reporter call "The Eyes glazed over look" CBB said, "That was your interpretation" and, "I didn't want them to see the word that I was about to say"

He then defended sticking with the tempo of play rather than going up tempo.
