LSU is playing so much better since the loss to Troy

I keep hearing this over and over. Even talking heads on radio & TV are repeating this mantra. But is it really true?
Since LSU embarrassed themselves and the conference by barely scraping out a win against a now 4-4 Syracuse team sandwiched by a blowout loss to MSU and a loss at home to Troy (hard to type that), what have they really done?
They beat a 3-4 team, by 1 point, who has since fired their coach.
After getting skull drug to the tune of 20-0 for almost an entire half of football, they come back on a short-handed team whose coach simply took the foot off the pedal too quickly and won 27-23.
They beat a team with a defense that you can run through like shite through a tin horn (seriously, Ole Miss AVERAGES allowing almost 300 yards per game on the ground. Gross).
So in summary, LSU has played one good half of football versus a good team, whose coach went to sleep at the wheel, since the Troy debacle. So no, they are not playing "so much better".
Alabama covers the 22.5 easily.
I know, I know, TLDR....

So you saying the Fla win doesn't count because it was a 1 point win and Mac has since been fired and the AU win doesn't count because Gus fell asleep in the second half? But the Troy loss is legit, even with Coach O admitting to meddling in Canada's offense?
For the record.. LSU lost to TROY and beat FLA and AU.

Syracuse beat Clemson. Its not like they suck.
I know you're trolling. But lets look at it. They are certainly better than Umass or La Tech.
You know what makes the conference look bad? When you dont schedule a P5 opponent for 4 years. Okie State is the last time State played a regular season P5 opponent.
I wish the SEC wouldn't allow FCS games. and make teams play at least 1 P5 opponent with a home-and-home series.

hmm let's see, they went from losing to fricking Troy to beating teams that are better than Troy.
Really is hard to see where this narrative of "improvement" is coming from. You're right. Thanks for opening everyone's eyes.

I think he is talking about the LSU fans saying the would beat MSU handily now...

No, they count. Just not impressive. Florida is a train wreck. The half against Auburn was pretty good, but Gus let off the gas and let you seize momentum. I just don't think LSU is actually playing a lot better.
LSU winning tomorrow helps us, so I am pulling for you. Just not getting my hopes up.
Hope I'm wrong.

Well hell, that is news

We lost to a Troy and you and then went on to beat a Top 10 team.
Yeah I would say that’s better.

Simmons is ok, State is mediocre at best.

You're just being extremely subjective because you clearly don't like LSU, which is fine. No need to spit garbage out though and not contribute in holding a real discussion.

BYU is P5.
What conference do you think they are in?
They are independent. No conference ties in football.
