LSU gameplan for this saturday?

Drive a bus to Troy, pick up the Trojans, dress them in LSU purple and gold, and drop them off at Bryant-Denny.
All jokes aside...I'm excited to watch this game and then listen to "Tammy from Baton Rouge" call into the Feinbaum show on Monday.

They will live and die by Guice on offense.
They have to stop Bama running and short routes to make them throw deep.
It is possible but I ain't betting on it.
Just for the record, I don't think we will next week either. I just hope we make a game of it for bowl pickings and don't get anyone hurt.
If you can stop Bama's run game and short passes, you have a small chance.
Small because the defense is just unreal fast and good.

Want a legit answer? Put our dbs one on one with your wrs and then load up the box to stuff the run. One small advantage we have on O is that we are somewhat unpredictable at times and this is something Saban will not have seen for a while from an LSU O. We have to find a away to confuse this D to get a few big plays that can possibly lead to some points or shoot, just help with the field position battle as this is always a major factor in this game. Have to play lights out on ST and pray for a defensive TD/or ST TD to keep us in it. It is the utmost importance to find a way to get Guice in space as well. Just a few thoughts that come to mind

Just a terrible match up for LSU. I think if a ground and pound team played AL 100 times they’d lose 100 times. You just gotta have a quarterback and skill position players that can make unbelievable plays under pressure and in traffic. It’s the only way.

Stack 8 to 9 within 8 yards of the ball and make Hurst beat you throwing the football. Pray to sweet baby Jesus we make 3+ plays of 40 yard or more on the Bama D. Win the turn over contest by 2+.

Only way to beat Bama is to be more physical than them. Easy to say, hard to do. You have to run at them. Can’t run sideways. Runs will not always gain a bunch but slows down the pass rush.
Need to hit on short passes. Need to hit one or two big passes after a good fake or two. Need to run two vertical routes and beat the man coverage.
Pull a couple of trick plays out the bag. Win special teams.
That keeps you within 10. To win you need some luck.
