Are you serious?

I can't tell.

Yes, in the last 6 seasons, Florida head coaches led the Gators to 3 SEC division titles, more than any other SEC team won in the same period that is not named Alabama. And they both were fired....

I'm sure all the top head coaches in CFB are lining up to apply for this job....

Yes, no coach worth his salt would ever want to coach at Florida! At least you guys are set for life with Chimp

End of day. I think it's between Frost and Campbell.

that's what it looks like. i wouldn't disregard mullen, but he's got it made at state.

if frost chooses nebraska then we hire campbell.

Why does anyone assume Campbell wants to leave Iowa State?

No big buyouts to worry about

I think Frost is the guy the AAU and Stricklin would prefer. He should be, imo.

Frost has an excellent pedigree. He's played (QB) and coached under some excellent college and pro coaches. Outstanding credentials, coaching acumen and personality type. A winner and very good fit.

Kelly and Kiffin both have some negative baggage -- character, integrity concerns.

Honestly, I admire the Florida admins for making a decisive move. McElwain sucks as a coach, has recruited poorly and that dumbass statement about death threats against his players with now supporting evidence was the final blow. Florida can do better no doubt.

Stricklin said he would wait till the end of the year before talking with coaches currently coaching teams.

That's just what they're suppose to say. He probably left that presser and immediately called and put out feelers.

That turned around this year. He was on pace for a top 5 class with the early signing period.

Florida can do better, but will they? Is LSU better? How is UT looking these days.

Frost is my 1st

Already in the state so recruiting should be easy for him.
Has a "fun" offense. Something our AD says he wants back in the Swamp.

Kelly
Fun offense.
Took Oregon to the NCG with mostly 3 star recruits and nearly won. Imagine him with UF talent

Kiffin
Great recruiter
Would come cheap, would be driven to earn his $$ imo
May hold grudges against Saban and UT so he already hates our rivals which is a plus :)
Has a very good offensive mind

What is cheap in your eyes? And do you really want to get a head coach based upon the perception of cheap?

Cheap meaning a win win as no big buyout to negotiate or huge salary to match

Imo Uf calls, Lane would come running

Please,he was the hottest HC commodity in CFB at CSU and a top flight OC at Bama. He'll find a job tomorrow if he chooses to get back into it.

They just fired their 2nd coach in 3 years who won 2 divisions titles and tried to screw out of his buyout.

There's nothing to admire in what UF did.

Why would a coach give you no big buyout when that is standard for a P5 school?
