6'7" SF/PF out of Gainesville, Florida. Picked LSU over UNC.
This is Will Wade's third top 100 player in the 2018 recruiting class along with Jevonte Smart and Naz Reid.
Pretty impressive to recruit at that level less than a year removed from being last in the SEC. Can't wait for basketball!

Indeed. Number 3 recruiting class in the country after LSU finishing last in the SEC. That's pretty impressive.

Handpicked from the Gators back yard. Cant blame him for wanting out of Gainesville.

I wanted to bet the first to thank you. I know the mecca that is Gainesville, FL basketball is overflowing with talent, here at LSU we will gladly take the inferior talent such as Days. I know Gainesville is right up there with the close knit aau talent circuits as such places as Memphis, Atlanta, Charlotte, and Miami. Every single year athletic pfs, with developed midrange games and athletic ability come out of Gainesville so letting another SEC school grab one or two recruits is okay. If any others like Days come around let us know!
Btw I edited just to say I have met Coach White awesome guy and pretty good basketball mind, but he is no Bill Donovan not saying our Coach is, but looking at his firs recruiting class and the current commits how yall didnt even attempt to go after Days
, just thank you. Its a consensus Top-70 player with his head on his shoulders that is committed to the school/program for 2-3 years. He even says he is not looking to jump to the NBA after one year because unlike most other Top 100 recruits he doesnt think he is God's gift to baksetball. The reality is with international top picks and holdovers/small college stars i.e. Myles Bridges in his second year or a Damian Lilliard there are only 30 first round picks, the only for sure NBA players, now 8-10 will be foreign, realistically only leaves 15 or so one and dones....

This kid is a stud. UNC wanted him bad.

That was a really long post for a really soft burn
I don't doubt that this kid is good at basketball. But the
UF posts are unwarranted considering UF barely recruited him.
We do have a 5* PG and a 4* SG committed so I don't quite get the superiority shown here. We're not heavily going after bigs this class

The "We didn't want him" excuse

White saw Days play several times last year, UF recruited him, they just didn't offer. They only need 1 big IIRC this class and were after Emmitt Williams probably the hardest. Now that is turning sour with his arrest. We were after him hard too.
Now it'll probably be Khavon Moore or bust for UF at the forward spot.
That all being said, Days really impressed a ton over the summer, not sure if White saw him then, but that's when Days really started picking up heavy steam. UNC and Louisville brought him in for officials before his LSU official.
Kansas, Ohio State, Louisville, UNC, FSU, Arkansas and Indiana all offered him this past summer.

I think we were really only going after Williams because we don't see grabbing a big in this class as a necessity. We signed Chase Johnson and Isaiah Stokes last class, both Top 100 guys who probably will be at UF for four years. Stokes will probably redshirt this year. Obviously we were aware of Days and I'm sure the staff liked him because he's a good player, and I can't for sure say why we didn't offer, but we didn't offer, and LSU fans can laugh at me thinking this is sour grapes or something but it's true.
We have been heavily after Khavon Moore but he's a point forward, not really a big. We were confident in him but it seems like Oklahoma has made up some ground.
