But UT isn't even a top 20 job.....

Chip to Tennessee. Can you imagine the uniform combinations he will introduce for relevance.

Wow Cowherd just straight wrecked Butch Jones in that clip. Hes wrong about the list. Mike Shula, Mike Dubose, Dennis Franchione, Bill Curry...below average coaches that had 10 win seasons at Alabama
Gene Stallings was not good at all at Texas A&M...won the SEC west 3 out of 4 years and an undistupted national title at Alabama.
Bama makes below average coaches seem competent, average coaches good, and great coaches into GOAT level

Post stats to support your position.

TAMU is a better job than Tennessee in pretty much every metric.
Colin reaching a bit - UT is a Top 15 maybe, not Top 10.

You are right, those coaches didnt win 10 games at Alabama and Gene Stallings never won a NC at Bama. I have these delusions sometimes where I get history wrong...

Dennis Franchione
I think people over inflate his failures at Texas A&M and forget he was a winner at practically every other place he coached. What did Franchione in was the fact that he left Alabama after two years.
Believe it or not, a coach's sudden departure has an effect on prospects he is trying to recruit to his new school. After leaving when the going got tough after just two seasons, I think many prospects were reluctant to go to College Station to play for a man who may or may not be there in two or three years.

I have no idea why anyone would listen to Cowturd or why he has a job on radio. He's easily the worst and dumbest sports radio guy ever.

Vince Lombardi to Tennessee.

I wouldn't even want to hear where their tard thinks Chippy Kelly should go to lunch next.

I think Gary Patterson was the real deal, not Fran.

You are incorrect about being incorrect. In fact you were very correct!

I mean...he didn't do the worst job at Texas State. 39-43 isn't too bad considering where he was and also considering it was the twilight of his career. I think he was just looking for something easy before leaving the game entirely.
He won over 200 games as a head coach. That's not exactly the easiest feat in the world of college football

Gary Patterson is a great head coach but don't forget it was Fran who got the ball rolling there. Had Albert Means never happened and had Fran stayed, I have no doubt he would have won championships in Tuscaloosa.
That '02 team was the second best of the decade (behind only the '09 national championship team). Before Fran intentionally blew the Iron Bowl, we had the #1 offense in the SEC and the #1 defense in the SEC. That was a Top 5 caliber team that season. Had it been bowl eligible, I think it's a distinct possibility it upsets Georgia in the SEC Championship Game.
