I can only assume this one is in German because they got the English version yesterday.
Again, if the story is more than an hour old, it is already on tRant.

Germans. Plus this isn't really a surprise. They are probably going to be handing out several subpoenas over the coming months.

Auburn very well may have problems coming, but I seriously doubt this is the only federal subpoena that's been served and I doubt it is the last. I for one hope they do get everyone who was/is cheating, if it's Auburn, so be it.

I don't doubt that Pearl was cheating to some degree, every basketball program does it.
It just sucks that if something else comes out not related to Person's current arrest, Pearl will get roped into this specific Person BS

What I find interesting is that if this mirrors the OK State subpoena, then they are looking for the compliance certifications that all student athletes and parents (and coaches) sign stating that they are still in compliance as an amateur athlete.
I wonder if this is a way to show intent to defraud the university, which is essentially the basis for the FBI to attack the players, coaches, and parents with more that some form of tax evasion charge and a way to ramp up the charges for coaches and the conspiracy to defraud for the shoe manufactures and AAU/handlers.

That is the only thing the Feds have jurisdiction of. they could care less of NCAA Rules. They are also looking to see if the NCAA is complicit with the Shoe Companies.

At least Auburn will find out everything they need to know about the bball program. No ifs, ands, or buts.
Kinda a dual-edged sword.
