Lake Spivey? Dude, you're in Clayton County.
No, I'm not. I am in Henry County? I told you you didn't know what you are talking about. You do realize that there are million dollar homes on Lake Spivey, right? No. You didn't.
Surrounded? Hardly. Granted Clayton County is a mess.I can tell you are somewhat familiar with the area, but you are not familiar with where I live. I can assure you, it is nice. I would venture to guess I live in a nicer neighborhood and house than you do.

Says the guy who lives between the Clayco ghetto & Henry County ghetto? When one wants to describe living in a bubble, you're it.
Dude...you talk about sidewalk fans, and you are the living epitome of a sidewalk fan!

Seriously. How many national Championships does Tennessee have since you were born?
One 1998
I remember it well.

Great! The we are even. Georgia has won one in my lifetime, too. And I remember it well!
So, in our lifetimes our teams have won just as much.
Now, when Tennessee looked like they had some good teams the last 3-4 years y'all talked...yet somehow you are offended if Georgia fans talk? At least we waited until the season started.

Heh....no. Maybe before YOU were born, but doesn't apply to me, kiddo.

Actually, it's pretty easy to accurately stereotype. The alumni are much more toned down & professional about it than their Wal Marter counterparts.
For the most part, you may be correct. It doesn't always work that way, though. I've seen more than a fair share of alumni go overboard in their enthusiasm during a good run.

Should I make ignorant assumptions like you & call you a liar?
What you're saying is a lie. It's not an assumption. It's one thing to make the statement and find out it's false after the fact. You are saying it while knowing it isn't true and attempting to put as much "oomph" behind the claim as possible to make it sound more factual than it is. That's lying.
quote:
I made that SAME argument the other day & referenced Alabama people w/ 16 "16" stickers & not a one of them say "Alumni."
Good for you. Didn't see that and you didn't reference it here, so are we just supposed to magically know your thoughts on each fanbase in order to understand the context of your comment?

Now, we live in Athens. You're going to see more stuff here on a Saturday. Get real.
Uh. Yeah. So where are you trying to say that you used to not see UGA flags flying on Saturdays (and now suddenly do) if not where most of the fans are concentrated? Alabama? Well, duh.
quote:
Also, you've had your own posters lately having to tell other UG posters to effectively "slow their roll" with this talk.
Like in this very thread, at the beginning? You're right. Most of us know there's still a lot of football left to play and anything can happen between here and the goal. Some folks are getting a little overconfident, though, no doubt. But why not? They're fans. It's a message board. Half the people are here to shite talk anyway.

Now, tell me where I'm wrong.
I think I, and others, have done more than enough of that. All done.

1980 was a longtime ago. Georgia is the Michigan State of the South but without as many National Championships.

Your point? Or is this one of your normal posts? just imparting us with your wisdom.
Let me see.....
"1980 was a long time ago."
Hard to argue that point. You, sir, are a genius.

Just amazing what little winning championship tradition Georgia actually has. Most don't know unless they research it because listening to your fans on here you are on par with the blue bloods of college football. It is a harsh reality to come to grips with I am sure.

Why do you folks even bother arguing with Kraut? He's just a bitter little fella who couldn't make it into UGA so he talks crap and trolls you folks all day long.

Tell us your connection to Bama, if you will. I'm interested to know if it's the alumni or the sidewalkers who carry around such arrogance 24/7. Maybe it's both? Most of your fans on here are pretty decent and know that they don't have to troll other fanbases because, well, why? But every now and then, one of them shows up to pound his chest and brag about all of his...errr.....his team's.....hmmm, no.....anyway....success.

I find it more amazing that Alabama winning football titles is what it takes to give your life meaning. How does Alabama winning championships make you more worthy?
Hint: It doesn't
I guess it just makes you feel better about yourself to come on a message board and belittle other schools? No problem. But, just remember this....nobody on here knows who you are, so we don't think you are special for being an Alabama fan.

Well considering I graduated from there and at one time was an active Booster what else are you looking for? A blood or urine sample?
