Haven't they won 2 of the last 3 as well?

yeah, and lost the last 5 prior. That antiquated offense can be tough for a coordinator playing it for the first time. Since PJ went to tech here are UGA's defensive coordinator's 2nd seasons against that offense, compared to their first:

Willie Martinez 2009:
@ #9 tech: 209 yards rushing- UGA W
(2008: #22 tech: 409 yards rushing- UGA L)

Todd Grantham 2011:
@ #23 tech: 243 yards rushing- UGA W
(2010: 411 yards rushing- UGA W)

Jeremy Pruitt 2015:
@ tech: 194 yards rushing- UGA W
(2014: #16 tech: 399 yards rushing- UGA L)

So what does this show? Well, it looks like 2nd year DCs at UGA in the CPJ era have yielded nearly 200 (TWO HUNDRED) less yards in the second meeting compared to their first. Every such DC has also beat tech in their 2nd year. We also see that the two first-year losses listed were to ranked tech teams, which I'm not sure this year's team will be.

The way I see it, if our offense continues to dominate like it has we shouldn't have any problems. And that's glossing over the fact this year's defense is better (in some cases slightly, in some cases majorly) than any other listed in the above years.

Concern as in to achieve their goal is probably Florida. Control destiny thing.

Concern as in best opponent. Auburn. Clearly.

I think UGA runs the table and Bama beats Auburn and we get an epic SECCG, between two undefeated division champs, winner goes to the playoffs.

I am hoping to call you Nostradamus at the end of the season. Shoot, let's call it MR. Nostradamus!

Was looking for all the titles the Falcons have won

Can only find them blowing a Super Bowl

So title town starts and ends at GT

That antiquated offense

That's the key.

It's like a computer hacker putting his malicious code on a VHS tape and sneaking it into the security guard's CCTV system to hack the internal network. Nothing from McAfee or Palo Alto to stop that shite. It's too antiquated. That's why it is so dangerous.

To make matters worse, it looks like GT has a mediocre defense this year.

This is the big one.

UGA, hopefully, will be riding high, with a spot in the SECCG already clenched, players go into the game not 100% focused, and get beat.

Very scary game there to close the season.

I can promise that Tech, regardless of record, will not be a threat what so ever to this UGA team. The way UGA is built will utterly destroy GT's offense. Really, I don't see another close game for UGA outside of AU. My second choice would be UK

Man, what is your problem with Georgia? That long hair doesn’t cover that red neck boy, nor does it hide your envy. You have the best coach in football what’s with the hate? Yes our state is clearly superior to yours but don’t hate us, your football program is better. And that’s where 99% of Bama fan’s self esteem comes from right?

If you are asking if it is fantastic to watch the Georgia fanbase squirm at the basic fact that Georgia Tech is more successful

Yes. Yes it is.

I love it

Auburn because they look to be by far the best team Georgia will play.

GT because they are tough to game plan for in one week.

UF because closest team left to UGA talent wise . They have a bye before the Georgia game and the staff could realize that their seat is on fire and start doing their job.

They'll boat race Florida. Florida is garbage.

I do think Aub & GT absolutely are your biggest games remaining. Sets up nicely for a UGA fans rivalry-wise.

Defense is not bad.
QB is solid
Their offense isn't as antiquated as y'all say and PJ is a great play caller.

On the other hand, UGA's win against ND was solid. SEC East teams have no offense to challenge UGA.
