What an eventful weekend of games! The top 3 teams dominated their games while others lost to Troy. Here are this week's results for your enjoyment. Thanks to the voters! Y'all are much appreciated
Alabama – It's early, but through two conference games Bama is outscoring opponents 125-3. The SEC may be down, but it's important for the Tide to avoid complacency on the road against a 4-1 Texas A&M team.
Georgia – another week, another dominant defensive performance from the Dawgs. Rushing attack looked solid, and Fromm showed once again why he has earned the starting job in a game where he didn't throw the ball as well as he's done the last couple weeks. Play Vandy next week. Hopefully we get more of the same as the last couple weeks, with a troubled O line and shaky QB play from the Dores. We will be favored in every regular season game moving forward - so how does Kirby handle success and huge expectations?
Auburn – a popular urban myth is that American History X's curb stomping scene drew inspiration from how Auburn stomped Miss St. Kevin "Steele Curtain," best DC in SEC/America, proves once again why Auburn stole him from LSU
Florida – the team is balanced on the edge of a knife. The suspensions have ruined depth, and they have no margin for error. That being said, the team is slowly finding its identity on offense. The loss of Del Rio may hurt, but Franks is capable. The run game is slowly progressing, which will open up the passing game a bit more. LSU coming up... still a rivalry game and the players may play for coach O's job. It'll be a tough game, despite LSU's loss to Troy.
Texas A&M – A&M 2-0, sitting at the top of the standings! ...oh frick Bama is next. RIP season.
Mississippi State – Thank God for the bye.
Kentucky – Will the real UK stand up? A team 1 point away from #1 in the east A team a score away from bottom of the conference
Arkansas – We finally beat the aggies. Each win for Arkansas is like a precious newborn baby. We will see this week if Dumplin' drops the baby, eats the baby, feeds the baby, or gets pooped on by the baby.
Vanderbilt – The Dores failed to bounce back to pre-Alabama form on defense. For the second straight week, the defense showed poor discipline and tackling against the run. Even if those issues are fixed, it's difficult to see how Vandy will stop the Georgia rushing attack, but week 1 of the season, most fans would have gladly accepted a 3-3 start.
South Carolina – our offense actually looked like an offense. In the 2nd quarter. Then it was same old Carolina. Every Gamecock fan knew what was happening. I'd rather tongue punch Martha Stewart's taint than watch a Roper-led offense any more. HIRE LEACH
LSU – LSU is going to have a long season. No motivation, a lack of line depth, injuries, a relatively young team, and a coach who is way over his head has led to a complete disaster. But hey, maybe Troy is a contender.
Tennessee – (deep breath)......umm yea so we knew a whipping was coming but first shutout since 94? A bit Unexpected. Anyways, we are off next week so I hope everyone is ready for the Grumors. Or not. Whatever. Thank god, they make Wild Turkey 120 proof. Lots and lots of Turkey
Ole Miss – Ole Miss didn’t have a game this week, I don’t know what the hell you’re talking about.
Missouri – see Mississippi State

My eyesight may be failing but that bar looks wide enough to be more than a single vote. Point being they were not alone so Tigers are getting love somewhere.

who voted AU #2
While I think Georgia should be #2,(I am prejudiced) I don't know that it is unreasonable to put Auburn at #2.

One is the loneliest number that you'll ever do

Its a power ranking, so w's and l's dont necessarily matter. But I find it hard to argue that UGA is worse than AU in that aspect yet. it's not like the past few games have been close

A definite case could be made. It doesn't matter, though. We are lucky it will be decided on the field. Should be a great game!

Agreed. Would be detrimental to come out flat and only beat us 45-14 instead of 50-0

Auburn seems to be figuring the offensive thing out, and that makes you very dangerous. The Auburn defense is legit already.
I FEEL like our defense is a bit better, but again....I am prejudice. It will depend on if Stidham continues to show improvement, and if your OLine can slow down our rush. I suspect we will try to put a lot of pressure on Stidham.

Bunch of bias Aubies pumping up their own team?

You would think so but alas those votes do not belong to Aubies

If Auburn keeps up they way they've played the last couple of games, I don't see us being favored playing at Auburn in November. It will be a close line, probably -1/-2 but I have a tough time seeing how we'd be favored.
