God Bless Barry Odom. He took over a program at Mizzou that was already in a Deep Spiral when he accepted the job. The football program is a direct reflection of the school's political situation.
Barry tried to sell he is the right person for the job, he has the answers and will get it fixed. The problem is much bigger than Barry Odom and he does not have the clout or name recognition to get it fixed.
Concerned Student 1950, Michael Brown and the ignorance of Black Lives Matter, a former head coach who sided with players who went on "strike" then resigned a few weeks later laid the groundwork for this failure.
Down over 38% in financial contributions to the school, down over 18% in freshman applications, and down 6% in enrollment since 2015 is a recipe for losing.
Whoever takes over will need to eliminate a great deal of the bad in the program, in the administration and the power structure of the university system.

No reason to allow Mizzou to stay in the SEC.

And your impressive rationale isn't enough to kick Mizzou out either.

The less liberal a school is, the better they do at football. That's why Bob Jones and Liberty' dominate college football.

I doubt Strong wants to leave the state of Florida he recruits well down there. A name I saw that was interesting was Greg Schiano.

Sounds like a man who knows his team has quit on him and knows he's gonna get fired and doesn't know what else to say and do.

Down over 38% in financial contributions

Don't know where you are getting your information but it's not close to accurate. We are having by far our largest private donation year in school history.

Sterk has the End Zone complex over 60% paid for with private donations months before we even break ground.

The only thing I saw good about Mizzou was their cheerleaders. Surprisingly, there is some female talent there. Except for that, I don't see SEC material
