I am all for paying a coach, an assistant coach, the strength & conditioning coach, the equipment manager, and everybody else for what they are worth.
Results oriented is what should drive the market.
Today's coaches had better wear multiple hats: coach, recruiter, away from home parent, guidance counselor, disciplinarian and advisor.
However, instead of having just "bonuses" in their contracts they should also have "penalties" in their to balance things out. Don't get that 5 star signed, lose 10k, don't get that 4 star signed lose 5k, give up 300 yards passing to NAVY lose 50k, and so on.

All these Anti-SEC so called talking heads would shut up and move on.. Kannel and Brando have lost it over SEC vs SEC

I have no doubt Baker Mayfield is one heck of a QB, and team leader, but my original point was actually not one announcer said a thing about it during the game or after the game, but they showed him as this new choir boy. Some of his antics include; yelling at Ohio State coach on the sideline after a scramble run in the 4th quarter(look it up, on video), pre-game Baylor( enough on video to make your own assumptions)pre-game TCU, hitting a player in the head with a football thrown from about 15 yards away( picture longest yard but a head shot) Kansas Crotch grab, and that is just this year.

I could care less about Baker, just wanted to know if anyone else realized the network never said a work about it after their Baker Mayfield montage.

Just never have time to come on and read or post. Have a career that takes most of my time.

Today on Sirius XM 84 ESPN College Sports Jason Horowitz and Ryan Leaf had a conversation about why SEC teams chant SEC SEC SEC like Alabama fans did in Sugar Bowl after UGA won, and then after the game.
Ryan Leaf got it, but said as a Washington State grad he would do the same for PAC 12 except for Washington. JH just didn't get it, then Mr. Danny Kannel came on and whined about the SEC for 10 minutes then had the guts to say that even though he didn't think the playoffs were done correctly he thought Alabama and Georgia were the two best teams.
I know as a graduate of Alabama I will always support any SEC Team playing out of conference foes in every sport.

Did anyone else catch Baker Mayfield do the Throat Slash Gesture after he caught his touchdown pass from Lamb and the Kickoff with a few seconds left before halftime? He mouthed " This %*%*%&&& is over."

Great Game by both teams. And so happy Dabo had nothing to say post Alabama/Clemson game.

East
Georgia- visions of Alabama like program and Hobnail boots.
Florida- Running game was located during 2nd half vs Vandy. Who plays QB is another story.
Vandy-can play but need some depth
Kentucky- Covered the WideOuts late in the game unlike verse Florida.
South Carolina- can't afford to lose anymore players
Tennessee- the fans are fighting with each other in the stands, need we say anymore. Jon Gruden on their Christmas wish list
Missouri- oh lord this team needed a week off and a Division III schedule.

West
Alabama- playing starters up by 45 is a good way to lose players to unneeded injuries.
Auburn- just imagine they had scored touchdowns on those two first quarter drives vs Clemson how they would be perceived by the national media.
Arkansas- Big Bret took 3 steps forward two years ago and has fallen 3 steps back since.
Miss. St- all that good media vs LSU and the talk of Dan Mullen headed to bigger jobs is just talk after two losing two uninspired games against two good teams.
Ole Miss- surprised their QB is able to walk today after the punishment he took Saturday nite.
LSU- why say anything because LSU fans will take offense to anything even when the truth hurts.
Texas A&M - getting better each week. Sumlin off the hot seat until next Saturday, for now it is just warm.

That is called beating the will to play out someone.
