Is that true?
Look out State...most of the rest of the SEC hates their coaches.

In the game of checkbooks, A&M is king.
Come home, Mullen. Come home to TEXAS

That's nice. Why would Mullen leave a team that is all sophomores and juniors? He's coming back for seconds next year.

you think Mullen is just going to hand over the keys to the Ferrari?

Why? He's going 10-2 or 11-1 this year with the entire team coming back. Contrary to popular belief, some people like to build their own legacy.

A&M has never backed up the dumptruck full of money. That is the difference this year.

aTm is made of money State could never compete with them should there be a bidding war.

Mullen wouldn't be my choice for head coach.
But there isn't a coach alive who (a) doesn't have aspirations beyond his current gig, and/or (b) can't be bought.

Let's be honest. I think "building your own legacy" is great, but nobody dreams about doing that at MSU. You going to retire and live out your glory days as a king in Starkville? Come on.
Meanwhile, there are places like A&M where you can leave almost as big of a mark on a much bigger, more prominent program

Why would he want to make a downward move to the dumpster fire at A&M?

Riiiiiiiiggt...... Arkansas is going to pull Mullen from MSU. Lol. This place has turned in to a god damned fantasy world.

You're ignorant to the facts. Dan loves Starkville, his kids were born here. His wife loves it here. Happy wife, happy life.

And also be fired within a couple of years.
