state and their fans will be mighty surprised if they really discount etling's arm.

The last eight games last year with EdO as HC and SE as OC Etling posted solid numbers.

60% completion - 210 ypg - 8.5 ypa (might be tops in SEC) - QB rating 0f 144.5

In first two games this year under Canada he has taken what the defense has given him in regards to passing.

Against BYU he showed marked accuracy 14-17. Cougars played safeties deep to protect against long runs. He attacked them with short throws.

Against chatt he hit them deep, eight completion for over 200 yards.

For the season - passing numbers

200 ypg - 71% completion - 12.8 ypa - QB rating 189 (top 10 in the country)

I don't think he will have a problem either. That's never been the point. Your window licking buddy over there is for some reason bringing up our quarterback when I bring up the fact that our defense (or anyone you play this year) will not be focusing on stopping Etling because he's just average. He's not who you have to be primarily worried about when you play LSU. For some reason that really bothers him.

Disrespect Fitz at your own risk.

LSU is going to find out this weekend that Orgeron is fool's gold.

Well then they are asking for trouble if they dont attack etling.

You say he is the weak link.

Yea, he ran for a lot on D's not named LSU, Bama, and Auburn. Basically, he didn't run on good D's.

Congrats.

He wasn't too successful last year.

You're asking for a lot more trouble if you worry about Danny Etling instead of Guice, etc.

I was obviously talking about his year as a whole and not the LSU game. I fully expect him to struggle running the ball again this Saturday.

That's because our offensive line is not as talented as those dlines. He had no chance.

I'm sure MSU fans could say the same about LSU.

Right and why wouldnt you. Its been such a barn burner of a series lately. You have won once in the last 1/4 century. Thats 25 ****ing years. STFU Stingray.

I believe this is gonna be a great game. Close and played hard by both teams with a belief that the win will launch them to a great season.

I was talking about your DC not your QB. Your new DC was at Louisville last year? At least that's what someone told me.

Grantham has a lot better material to work with than he did last year.

Predicting the TR stays on lock down all week next week and Vandy posters outnumber tiggers on the rant for the next few weeks.

The is no fanbase more "fair weather" than LSU's.

Do you really think Danny Etling scares anyone in the SEC?
check the qbr rankings. he's playing as well as any qb in the conference, maybe aside from hurts who happens to be on the best team. i'm absolutely positive state's d knows this and isn't nearly as flippant as you are

I wonder why las vegas disagrees with you excellent in depth analysis?

Especially your logic about LSU playing "chump" teams while crediting MSU for playing Charleston Southern and LA Tech?

And State, like everyone else in the SEC, is not worried about Etling this week.
apparently state fans neither know what qbr is nor have they actually watched etling - at all

Is there anyone in the conference that would willingly trade quarterbacks with you?
if they are not bama and say no, then they're stupid. he's 10th in qbr right now and has looked quite good the last several games. name the better qb (other than hurts) and what is your criteria? maybe fromm?
