Just Watched The New Clemson Team

Their offense looks RAZOR SHARP. Every pass was on time and crisp. Beautiful throws all over the field. Their 2nd string guy played the 3rd quarter - he looked sharp - very decisive, and a good runner. Their 3rd string QB played the 4th quarter - a pocket passer who threw fade routes like a pro.
They played weak competition, but every facet of their team is humming like a sewing machine. Their starting QB looks Watson-esque, but faster. I mean they won without even trying. Their starting QB was pulled after the first half.
They will dismantle the Plainsmen this weekend. Should be a thing of beauty
They're definitely playoff caliber, and I wouldn't be surprised if we enter the playoffs 1 and 2 for the third season in a row

You got all of this after watching them play Kent State?

They definitely looked good. Their playoff chances got a boost by the Francois injury too, and Louisville struggled with Purdue. I think they are definitely the favorite in the ACC now. Watch out for Miami and Virginia Tech in the other division though.

FSU was and still is the only threat to Clemson in the ACC. Dabo has built a monster.

Yep, Bama beating FSU and Francois getting hurt has given Clemson a HUGE advantage in the ACC.
VTech's freshman QB looked good last night. He was running, throwing. He did it all. Boy ran for 100+ and almost 300 yards passing against West Virginia.

That Clemson OC Scott is going places. PSU's OC is another one to keep an eye on.

Some of you kill me with this petty Auburn hate.
They are going to beat Clemson on Saturday and I hope they do.
A good Auburn is good for the conference. We still get to beat them on the field.

I agree with you however it is easy to hate their tinfoil hat wearing fans. Those guys hate us more than words can describe. We can't even discuss Ole Miss without them showing up and little brothering it up. They are a big cult and are a problem for us.

I hope Auburn loses every game they ever play.

Screw the conference. They damn sure tried to screw Alabama and would again given the chance.

Me too. Excuse my "petty" Auburn hate.

Their offense will look better vs Auburn than ours will against Fresno State. It's an absolute thing of beauty

They played Kent State, a team that might be the worst team in the country.

So you think an offense that only put up 19 the year before when they had Watson, Williams, and Gallman is going to do what they want against AU without those guys?
And you think that we arent going to do whatever we want against a team that won one game last year?
Interesting prediction to say the least.

I think the game is a toss up. Stidham looks a little rusty though.
But I hope AU loses every game by 50+. We don't need them to be good to help us.

I think this will be a 24-21 type game. Carlson maybe the difference.

Agreed. What a heckuva weapon to have in a close game like that.

I think Clemson's new QB will have more passing yards against Auburn than Jalen will against Fresno St. I think their offense will look smoother and more polished, and it wouldn't surprise me if they put up 40 on Auburn. It won't be a close game. That Clemson game last year was an anomaly.
As for Fresno St. they won their first game 66-0, and their fans seem to think they're going to hang with us and prove how overrated FSU was.
I think we'll win by 40-50, but I think our passing game will still look as dull as ever despite a few good-looking rainbows

Don't be surprised if we open up the playbook a little more and start throwing more these next couple weeks to help Jalen progress in the passing game. Saban knows this is going to be important later in the year and that these next few games are the time to work on it in a game
