They went into the Cubs series right after the All Star Break at 45-45. They're now 57-72.
frick it. Bring up some of the kids and lets see what they can do.

Could be a perfect ending.
Bad enough to be able to let Snitker go and bad enough to let the kids get some reps.

They could win out and I wouldn't want Snitker to stay. I like Ron Washington personally. He's been a successful manager and he's already on staff.

Of course. My point was that it would provide cover to let him go. A lot easier than if we finished 79-83.

I gave up on them. Maybe it was football season rolling in, but I have had my fill with them this year.

It's extremely difficult to follow a bad baseball team. 162 games of trash is rough.

The Braves could bring up half of the Gwinnett roster and Snitker would still find a way to play Markakis and Kemp everyday and Johnson would still get the ball out of the pen every two days.

We have climbed up to around pick 8 in next years draft. We could easily end up with a top 5 pick and a new manager if we keep it up.

I really want Seth Beer or Ethan Hankins, but I fear Beer wont have a position and will fall and Hankins will blow up even more than he has and will be the first prep pitcher taken.

A few things stand out to me around the All-Star break:
- July 7th loss against Scherzer and the Nats. Had them beat 4-1 in the 9th and Johnson blows it and Snit wouldn't take him out. It's like the team lost faith in themselves and Snit, right as it seemed they were about to turn the corner as a good team.
-Being swept by the Phillies the end of July...the worst team in MLB.
-The timing of Dansby's demotion. It felt management gave up on the team after that.
We have some talent but the folks at the top don't seem to know what they're doing.

The struggles against the Phillies this year are mind boggling. Braves were 3-12 against them this year going into today.
ETA: Another failed sac bunt by a non-pitcher. Jesus Christ, Snitker.
