The only potential issue here is that some of the computer models have Harvey moving into Louisiana later this week. Could be major weather issues for a game
Agree. Some projections have Harvey moving back into the Gulf and re-organizing. Playing the game in Provo would be the safest bet.

Last thing I want is to move it to BR and we get another thunderstorm event. Move it to a domed stadium (Superdome) or Provo and be done.

That moved their home game to baton rouge and still waxed arse? Hmmm
Game was not played when it was supposed to be, and lsu still lost a home game for no reason as it is playing at Florida this year. That whole situation wAs a complete Florida screwup,.. congrats to them on winning the game and getting the last laugh, but that doesn't change the fact that their incompetence created the problem.

Actually LSU won that game, 45-24. Or do you mean when LSU moved the game to Arizona due to a major hurricane? Nope, LSU won that one too, 35-31.
Naaaa think wayyyyyyy back to 2016 bud. When lsu cried to have the florida game moved from florida to baton rouge, then florida came in and spanked that arse.

They have a very short memory and still think they were in the right in that situation. And, of course, they don't care about the outcome of the game.

Why not look at all the other times LSU was involved with moving venues or times to get the game played on its originally scheduled weekend?
Why just focus on the one time pussies refused to negotiate a contingency?
I swear y'all act like LSU isn't accustomed to dealing with natural disasters. We have proven over and over that we are willing to negotiate in good faith. The gators, on the other hand...

2015 - LSU made South Carolina play at Baton Rouge because of "safety concerns."
2016 - LSU blackmailed Florida to have to play at Baton Rouge.
2017 - LSU forces BYU to play in Baton Rouge because of "no better option and safety concerns."
And LSU thinks they're the good guy and the victim in all of this....

Oh STFU ,no fan of either team had control over that situation.Neither administrations handled that well

Just the opposite, you don't seem to remember all the other times contingencies were implemented. Now LSU and BYU are going to show y'all how it's done and expose you for the cowards you are.
ASU, UT, USEe, and now BYU. What's wrong with UF?

My point is you guys keep benefiting from hurricanes. You are not the victim. I see this game getting moved to Baton Rouge, but part of me hope that backfires on you guys again.
Posted on 8/27/17 at 10:43 am to ForeverGator
And how in the frick do us guys have control of where it's played?

LSU didn't make anyone do anything, we offered, they accepted, we sent them proceeds. They weren't scared.
Why don't you bring up when ASU offered to move the game from BR to Arizona? Doesn't fit your narrative?
All I know is that out of 5 incidents, Florida was the only one to be paralyzed by fear.

You mean like how we benefited from Katrina?
frick you.

You guys like to bring up that Arizona game that happened back in 2005. And with good reason as that was the worst storm to ever hit the United States.
Now fast forward to the last 3 seasons. You guys are the beneficiaries of hurricanes hitting other places. It's a trend. What happened in 2005 was an anomaly.

This clown probably believes LSU fans are generating the storms

With models showing Harvey reforming back over the gulf and hitting LA. Sounds like they should be looking at venues further out

How would losing a regular season game 3 years in a row benefit LSU?
4 out of 5 times an amicable solution was found.
Florida is that 5th idiot dentist that doesn't recommend Trident for their patients who chew gum.
It's obvious you can't blame LSU for last year, quit trying so hard.

Alleva is a master at getting LSU's fans sympathy.
Watch them move the game to Baton Rouge, then Baton Rouge gets flooded as well, and then Alleva will try to play victim in all of it and also say that the game will still be played and that they don't back down.
Whatever keeps your job, I guess.
