Well put. I agree but I'll add this caveat. "You aren't going to run on us" becomes more difficult when you get burned a couple of times thru the air and have to keep your safeties back and maybe drop a LB into coverage. I'm not saying that's what's going to happen...I'm just saying that I expect that to be the game plan and we are confident in our offense to execute it...and if successful, it will soften up the run D and then y'all are in for a long day.

You never know with this series but based on what's on paper, it looks to be a really good game. My grandfather is a huge LSU fan and he is almost certainly in his last year of life. It wouldn't bother me all that bad if AU lost because he'd be thrilled. He's kind of losing his marbles though so I'll root for AU and if we win, I'll convince him that LSU won anyway

I hope my grandkids are as considerate as you. Of course, I'd first hope that they are smarter than you so they can get into LSU.

I have said this before on this board...I love the AU/LSU game. For me it is one of the more "physical" games all season. I know that term is thrown around often but it seems after this game both teams look like they have been thrown in the ring with a mid 80s Mike Tyson without gloves on.

I try to go to the game in Baton Rogue every year since 2007 (that game hurt...bad). Great atmosphere and the tailgating is next to none. Believe it or not, I have had nothing but great experiences every time in B.R. You have to put up with the "tiger bait!" but it is all in good fun. I would love to see a turn in the series this year to get the 1999 monkey off our back.

In short, usually a great game, great atmosphere, great experience, and there is just a different energy in the air at this game in B.R. Looking forward to another great game LSU folks. See you there.

Wanted prediction: AU by 10

Realistic prediction: LSU by 6
