Also of note, he was battling Shon Coleman at the LT position instead of being moved to guard.

Here is the Tampa Bay beat writer's prediction:

Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Rookie Carlton Davis will win a starting job.
Davis, a second-round draft pick, will beat out Vernon Hargreaves and Ryan Smith to become the Bucs' starting cornerback opposite Brent Grimes. Hargreaves will move to nickelback, which is where he spent a large portion of last season. Davis was already getting a portion of first-team reps during OTAs and minicamp. -- Jenna Laine

Devaroe Lawrence had 2 sacks last night, which was more than he had in 3 years at Auburn.

Peyton Barber scored the opening drive TD for the Bucs in the Miami-Tampa game last night. Only played a couple of series but had 4 carries, 21yds, and the TD.
Also, had to watch a Tampa feed of the game and Ronde Barber could literally not stop praising Carlton Davis. Ended with 5 tackles and a couple of deflections.

Has Carl Lawson actually blown up even more?
Holy shite.
Edit: I think I read somewhere where the Bengals are going to move him to DE from OLB, so the extra size would make perfect sense.

Roc Thomas just had a 3 yard run followed by a 78 yard screen pass TD for the Vikings

Daniel Carlson just kicked a 57 yard field goal for the Vikings with ease. Could've been 65+.
