I've been alive for a while, but not until about 9-10 did I follow Alabama football somewhat similar to the way I do now. That being said, I didn't know what a victory over Auburn OR LSU felt like until I was a freshman in highschool.
My fondest memory up until the 2005 "this ain't Kentucky" Florida game was Tyler Watt's dumbass fumble against Oklahoma in...2003? I think? Maybe 2002. One of those 2 years Alabama played Oklahoma.
Quentin Groves (god rest his soul) and Jamarcus Russell were probably the first football players in my life that I legit hated. I bought into the Bama's back hype and SI slobbing their knob for 10 games and then had my soul crushed when LSU and Auburn stepped all over Brodie Croyle and company to end the season.
Those are just a few that come to mind for me. So in a nutshell, fandom wise...I grew up only knowing the dark times but then kind of got spoiled after enduring 6 years of football despair

I just took it for granted that Crimson Tide fans would be united in the Harvey updyke/ poisoned trees as the saddest moment...perhaps I was wrong

There are a lot more sad moments than happy moments.

I don't get sad. I get mad.

Enh, as an Arkansas fan the lows are low, but the highs are the best. When something good happens we celebrate it. When something bad happens we don't kill trees or... you know... family members.

I'm not wrong.
Mad is a better description.

When one of our football players got a brain tumor and died at the beginning of the season... or the time 20 years ago when a star RB had a seizure in a pool and drowned... or last year when one of our player's father died in a car wreck. Or Dak's mom dying. Those are some of the moments that made me sad. Everything else is just a game.

If we made that TD we would have won a natty. It's the Georgia sports curse.

I didn't believe in that until I saw Super Bowl 51
