I think that's great. Their priorities are clearly in the right place.

Ole miss has spent all of their cash on the players for the past 4 years or so. Houston may have to take an iou.
Good thing they invested all that money into the expansion of Vaught Hemingway

Turns out??? Is this breaking news????

You think he settles or drags this out to make them get on the stand?
I think he's genuinely pissed about it. When this came up months ago what he wanted was an apology. So now that he filed to coincide with media days it seems pretty obvious that he's got every intention of dragging it out.

^ This
I guess Ole Miss thought the good ol' boy in-state system was still gonna protect them with lawyers and judges etc?

Damn, that's spot on

Nutt has been waiting by the phone for the last 5 years for a phone call, just one. His cobwebs have cobwebs.
$3 million from Arky to leave
$6 million from UM to leave
$5 million from UM cuz had his wittle feewings hart.
Another day at the office from the Mad Nutter.

I believe , in my opinion, that there are some sharp people associated with MSU that have been holding their cards close to their chest while letting a lot of public mouthpieces via twitter etc put themselves in a mess only to be sued later for slander, lies and misinformation. How you like that?
I think that rabbit hole goes way deeper than State. I think Ole Miss pissed off a lot of the wrong people with their recruiting tactics both inside and outside of the SEC.
I also believe the NCAA always knew exactly what was going on. I think they gave Ole Miss a chance to come clean and fix the issues. I think when they didn't after the first NOA coupled with the Tunsil draft night incident it really pissed them off and they went for blood.
I don't think Ole Miss will get the death penalty but they are right on the edge of it. They may very well wish they had gotten it before this is all over.

Here ya go. Perfect article describing what Ole Miss is (and everyone knows but them) compared to what they think they are.
LOLE MISS. Know your place bitch, sit the frick down and stay in your lane. Yall are a buncha wannabes and always will be. Freeze is a cheater and the truth will be punished soon enough. Ole miss is a laughing stock. My favorite quote from the article is "ole miss doesn't have the money or support to build a Death Valley". Hahahahaha.

Someone spiting on their end of a contract (Legal agreement) will make you do that. The agreement was that both sides would keep their mouths shut. UM chose not to do that and because of their failure to adhere to the contract, they deserve to get what is due to them, just as Coach Nutt is.
Perhaps they will find (regarding their contract with Coach Nutt) that the law is a bitch. They will likely find the same to be true with their agreement with the NCAA.

Evidently you are not a lawyer either.
OM is dead on this one and they will pay. I can't believe they didn't know that when they said the things they said and put into writing about Nutt. I guess they have no lawyers worth a spit on staff at the school. At minimum they evidently had no lawyers who still had their Contract Law books from law school or scored above minimum on that part of the bar exam.

Yes. I also see this as a matter where Nutt knows he is on the right side of his separation contract fulfilled his obligations under the terms of the agreement and deserves to be compensated for UM's failure to keep their side of the contract.
So sad that an apology from UM would likely have put all of this to bed way before he filed his suit.

No, because he was called everything but a criminal by a bunch of fricking sleazebags who knew they were lying about him and were just doing it to bamboozle a class of recruits into thinking they had nothing to worry about with regard to sanctions if they signed with Ole Miss.

'well actually'
Well actually Hugh knew the bus was there when he bought the house. He also knew the HOA agreement was in place and signed papers with the NCAA saying he knew no old crappy buses were allowed on the property.
Did he make any attempt to remove the old bus once he bought the house and became the homeowner?
Nope.
He just claimed the bus was not there.

Yes, at least through deposition, where a record is produced that fully supports his case and further embarrasses UM. I think he wants names made public and statements documented.
IMO, the deposition may get interesting.

For all of you dumbass ole miss fans what that definition means is...you have this grandiose identity of your school and athletic program that isn't backed up by reality in titles, stats, or any other form of accomplishment used to distinguish one program/university from another. You're bat shite crazy, in total denial, and believe that you are exponentially better than you really are based on facts. Delusional synonym : Ole Miss.

Nutt's case looks like a winning case. I think Ole Miss will settle way before deposition phase and Nutt will likely get $3-5M.
(Ole Miss/Rebel Rags fans: take note. this is what a winning case looks like)
